I like my holosuns, from the 507, 509, 512, 503, and 403 models that I have and having tried various optics that came through the gun shop I like them for a price/performance perspective.
I had a warranty issue with my 507 and they took care of me, just like CHPWS took care of me when I had a 509 plate that was out of spec.

I have holosuns on everything from my M&P performance center to my Benelli and even my PTR 9CT, I run a vortex UH1 on my 13.9 rifle but that’s just because of the deal I got on it.
Next big “optics” purchase will be a holosun vis/IR Laser/illuminator combo for the PTR so one day when I have NODS I have a fun gun to play around with.

Finally got my rein 3.0 mounted up, still gotta loctite/torque the fasteners but I think this is how I want it setup.
Fairly minimal shadow from the suppressor, I might end up getting a mount to push it forward another .75” or so but overall I’m happy with it.

    The light or the dog?
The light is a blem , the dog is a blonde German shepherd and she’s been playing in the pond every day since it started getting warm so it’s impossible to keep her clean.

This is her when she’s cleaned up with her partner in crime, Smokey, a rescued lab/shepherd mix.

Noticed Sunday night that when I took my rifle outside that the lenses fogged up, it looked like it was inside (basketball shorts wouldn’t clear it) recreated it tonight with the freezer and definitely see that the interior lense is fogged. Vortex already sent me a prepaid label to return it and they’ll take care of me.

I think it's 'coz by the time most of us become gun snobs.....we are all pre diabetic or worse (myself included) ..... partly because that is when we are older and can afford some of the nicer things in life ..... aka the rest of the things on that list.

Well that does make good sense. You are correct before this point in life my priorities were deffinately focused differently.
