^^^^ yes. this all applies in the firearms world for sure.

    buy what you want
    want what you buy

sell the rest & try again.

if you have lived long enough for your health to start going to crap? then hopefully: you deserve everything nice that you can afford.

Maybe the BS thread was the wrong place to look. Where are we securing a pistol in the 3rd Gens these days?

    Define securing?

I can't recall who, it might be Cali Raised, but someone makes a Molle panel that attaches in the foot well to the doghouse, or center console area. A few people secure a holster via Molle webbing to that panel.

Secure (v): To place in ones vehicle in a manner that is easily and readily accessible to the driver but not a liability to others as it is mounted in a stationary and fixed position with access to fire controls (trigger) blocked. :D

Nah - It was a fair question. I used to roll around with a 357 jammed up under the seat of my Titan. That was "secured." Some people rip out the back seat and install a gun safe that would rival home safes. It's all diferent and its all good.

I'm just looking to keep it out of sight but with in easy reach and not bouncing around the cab since its striker fired these days.

For the most part in a floor safe behind the passenger seat.
If safety is a concern then one has no time for combinations.

This what I'm planning. I've seen it's fairly easy to attach a holster to it, and the steering wheel makes it kind of hard to see if you're looking through the window. Alternatively you could always just throw a rag over top if you leave the gun in your truck, which I don't advise lol

When driving I use this setup it’s all adjustable and held on with velcro. If I have to go into someplace that does not allow a person to carry then I have a console vault IMG_5724.jpgIMG_5725.jpg

New toy! Can shoot 5 shot groups you can cover with a dime @ 50 yards. Gonna stretch it out to 100 yards this weekend. I'm expecting nickel to quarter sized groups. CCI 17gr Vmax ammo.

That would be impressive. I've tried 3 types of ammo so far, Hornady 20gr xtp, CCI 17 gr gamepoint and 17gr Vmax. It likes the vmax best so far.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
