Really worst case is I have a g19 that won't lock back on the last round. Not end of the world, but annoying.

No, usually use the slide lock lever which probably has put more wear on it. I think the cause is b/c some of the milling done one the slide has made that rail on that slide stop side thinner than oem. If I flip the 2 slides over and look at the rail on that side in that area, it is noticeably thinner and thus worn faster. This is a bit of a fancy glock slide that I thought I wanted to build and after I was half way into it, I lost interest but was already committed to finishing it.

I’ve been told not to do that because it can potentially get you off target, so I just stay on target and use my non-dominant thumb to operate the slide release because my fine motor control isn’t that great anymore as I get older.

I was going through my magazines, and came across these Butler Creek "Hot Lips" 25/22 magazines for a Ruger 10/22.

I have 6 - 4 have never been loaded/fired, 2 were used a couple of times. I thought someone may be interested in them.

    Shipped for $75.00

I also have a Ram-Line .22 Autoloader magazine loading device. It works with the above magazines, but not with Ruger factory mags. This is either unused or barely used.

    Shipped for $50.00

.45 raptor project. Rounds use a modified .308 mag.
None for sale that I know of other than 1 guy I heard of in AZ. that makes them.
Mod requires a shortened follower then a spacer in the front with a feed ramp carved in.
Have this 3D printed follower that needed serious trimming. Maybe with a little more shaping I can get it to work.

Finally had time, and paperwork, to work on my PPS-43. Its "roughed" in so to speak. Barrel pin needs trimmed and then just some clean up and light sanding of the mag well area (mags fit to tight) and then clean up of the receiver. Then a few minor things like making the safety function.

But did take it out and test fire 4 shots (all the ammo i had in the big garage lol). Not perfect with it being unfinished. Two rounds the bolt binded up a bit. But did get two to fire semi-auto. And boy the sights are way off......the orginal gun must have been quite out interesting as the front sight post is cranked way to the right.

Finally got around to taking this to the range this weekend. Shot like a dream! Until I got FTE every few rounds. I had put in an old PSA BCG in it when I replaced the BCG in my go-to rifle with a BCM. Swapped over the BCM at the range and it's GTG. Turns out the extractor spring was really weak. Luckily I already had a BCM sopmod bolt rebuild kit. So I rebuilt the old PSA with it. Should be good now.

After shooting this rifle at the range, I switched over to my go-to 16" rifle. First thought was the loud ass twang of the buffer spring. :rofl:It never bothered me before. Not until I shot an AR with an actual stock. So I've got an Armaspec "stealth recoil spring" on order.

I was pretty happy with it even for having only put four rounds in it. Its surprisingly comfortable to shoulder and shoot.

Ive got a PPS-43/52 (wood stock) kit that will be interesting to try out. Just have to decide where in line it ends up for being built. Though I only need a barrel (and the "permission slip") for that one unlike other kits I have.
