I am confused. Why does it matter to anyone else but the owner whether they start with an upgraded model or the most basic pistol. ever made?
Glock perfection is far from perfect. Sights are trash out of the box. Upgrade those to really good night sights. The trigger feels like you're dragging it through gravel. smooth it out or upgrade. A ported slide can help a new shooter be more accurate. A red dot can improve accuracy.
I am a firm believer in you play like you practice, but if you send thousands of rounds downrange with a block then upgrade, you need need to start all over.
If we follow train with only the most basic weapon until you are good. go get a WWII, 1911 that rattles when you shake it and start there.
Not everyone's journey begins or ends in the same place as yours.

I found a good deal on a CZ P10C. Actually very good because it had a threaded barrel and supressor hight sights.

Because the internet has given the basement dwelling troll who's got a parasite dwelling in their bunghole that give them carte blanche license to insert their thoughts into someone else's business. These unwashed putrifying gatekeeping Karens feel it is their job to tell complete strangers how things should be.

Apparently this is a gun photo only forum because PiryongS says so? Is that right?

Yeah 22LR, weighs about 40 lbs. Thing is wicked. Custom stock, custom barrel, custom sight. Wish I had more info on it.

Best bang for your buck is a trigger upgrade. Trying to shoot single holes at 100m with a milspec trigger is rough, throw a new guy behind a good match trigger (G$ SSAE on my AR) and they all of a sudden shoot much much tighter groups. Doesn't make them a better shooter per se but it eliminates some of the human error in their atrocious trigger squeeze and poor breathing technique.

Lol! Someone is always ready to get offended and angry instead of having fun and continuing the discussion. It’s always funny to me that these exact same discussions around the campfire after a rifle match or back in the clubhouse after shooting trap are always fun, with people looking over other people’s gear over a beer. Online, it usually ends up with someone losing their bearing and having some sort of emotional tantrum.

It was fun watching my friend’s brother clean up the local competition with his Taurus PT92 when he started doing action pistol. (He’s pretty Gucci now.)

It’s still kind of funny to see someone with a 5K 1911 struggle to find paper after loudly telling you how accurate it is.

And it’s always fun watching Internet discourse turn into an angry dumpster fire!

Most isn’t worth paying attention to. People talk down to others for no apparent reason that’s their issue I guess or speak badly of things people buy because they aren’t the most expensive things you can find when they know nothing of somebody’s financial situation or there priorities.

Fact, there is a fine line on here between contributing to a thread and being a keyboard bully.

I think the key is to not take things too seriously or personally. It’s a sport and hobby we do for fun.

My boss for years now "carries" by keeping his pistol in a bag. Tried to get him acclimated by suggesting he carry around the house. Then in the yard, then food shopping, etc but its been a few years now and its still in that bag. In a holster, but just floating around in some random orientation which he'll have to figure out, grab, unholster, present etc, all under stress. Better than being unarmed but not by much. Not sure if he keeps a round chambered or not but it wouldnt surprise me if he doesnt. Thing is more or less a security blanket/lucky rabbits foot. :(

I am waiting for some Black Friday sales for an LPVO. Then what do I do with my Primary Arms 3.5x scope?

Throw it on a basic bitch loaner gun. My M&P 15 Magpul edition just has a Vortex Spitfire 3x on it for friends who don't own stuff yet.
