If you needed a rail mount (handgun) weapon light to get someone for a Christmas gift around $100, are there any good choices these days? Last time I bought one I was spending a few hundred bucks for anything decent. That was a long time ago, though.

I thought Franklin Armory did, but maybe not. I think it has to do with 22mag is harder to stack in a double stack mag?

Put it in the house, I think people have this misconception that it’s safe for the garage to go up in flames and the rest of the house is fire proof. I figure if my spare room goes up the rest of the house will including the hot/cold garage.

Streamlight has a few that are a bit over $100, you might find them on sale for less.

I keep some in my safe and a majority just in the house, it is temperature controlled environment. My spare bedroom is nothing but a gun parts and ammo warehouse lol

I have had cans of powder since high school. Keep it in climate control and it lasts forever. Desiccant doesn't do squat.

Ensure you have moisture-absorbing packets inside those cans. Because of moisture and temperature fluctuations, barns, garages, and outdoor storage sheds are among the worst places to store them.

I've been highly impressed with the Tikka I picked up last year.
So much so that I had to rework the triggers in my M77s that I've hunted with for years. I didn't know there was anything wrong with them until I shot the Tikka

    Another vote for Nightstick.

Skip the o-light. Aren't those the ones that short out and burn up?

I still have some shotgun news magazines that have ads for lightning links in the back.
