I'll definitely take this into consideration. My opinion of DD is primarily regarding cosmetic details, but I also care about function and affordability.

 

OK, I have to ask....

In most of the photos with ARs with scopes on this forum, the scopes are all mounted WAAAYYYYY forward. I mean, I look at all my scoped ARs, none have rear obj forward of the charging handle.

Do you all shoot them with the stocks collapsed? Or is the eye relief really that long??? I see a lot of Vortex - I have plenty of Vortex scopes. Their eye relief is pretty short....

What gives??

 

Good question - I pulled these from Google images... Want to sell any of those Vortex scopes??

that made me go and look at mine. Scopes set at the charging handle. One of my magnifiers is behind because it has less eye relief. For most rifles I do not shoot with the stock fully extended. Probably one position forward from full.

The DD in the picture looks a too far forward for me.

this doesn’t seem like a lot with Glock being worth billions
