My wife (now ex) bought an entire kitchen from Ikea. Counters, Sinks, cabinets. She assembled it because I strait up refused. I installed it. That house burned to the ground. The Lord works in mysterious ways

 

went with an 11.5 build, stamp approved, waiting on some backordered parts but its coming together

 

My son bought an entire kitchen for his house we put it together, I will never set foot in that store again

Filled an entire 26' uhaul once with Ikea furniture to furnish one of my company's houses. As its been said, never again.. however the furniture did last quite some time before our tenants destroyed them which is quite impressive

 

I’ve almost convinced myself to order one of these this week.

 

Well if you don’t convince yourself to buy yourself one, perhaps I can convince you to buy me one?

 

These have been on my radar a while, theres just too many wants and my want list items keep increasing in price making them stay in the want list forevere

Had to correct my cousin today. He's did his CC class and got a couple of sig p365x's, but has them behind the seat in a box unlocked. Told him it doesn't do much good if you need and can't get to it and it's unloaded. PAPERWEIGHT

 

many people need a lot of trigger time to get comfortable with a loaded firearm and on their person or near by.

when i train, i try to train to the persons comfort level and never try to rush it, but Always repeat that the ultimate goal is to get them chambered and on their person.

 

Saw this link in the "Glock Owners United" thread. I keep a link to it because it seems a good step towards that comfort level. Nothing like in-person training, but ...

Umm is that the right link? which part? It looked like dudes talking about stippling and just modifying their Glock perfection.

I think when he says comfortable, he means they don’t shoot themselves in the leg when holstering or unholstering after shooting a .5 split failure to stop.

 

Post 3089 is in my a lady presenting a 50-rd practice schedule ... just checked again. Shooting from "stand", from picking up off a table, draw-and-shoot ... not comprehensive I am sure but better than "stand-aim-shoot for 500 rounds".
