    Gotcha.
I can't click on that link while I'm at work or I get a call from HR because they got a call from IT saying I was looking at a firearms related site (ask me how I know this  )

Just bought a 229. Like the way it felt it my hand better than a 239.
    Great guns though!

I think I saw an article from one of the bigger newspapers today

Edit: looks like it only applies to current owners wanting more firearms. First time buyers still have the waiting period

Anybody here with a NY trigger glock put a - connector in it? I just picked up a former LEO Gen2 with the NY trigger and it's heavy as shit.

From what I've read, the NY trigger + - connector should put the trigger right in the 6lb range which is what I'm looking for.

Yes, a G35C Glock connector will make your pull ~6lbs if you have the NY trigger spring. Do NOT run an 8lb connector in that setup as your reliability will go right down the thunder mug.

Any opinion on Glockworx, Ghost, Factory, etc? I would prefer a drop in connector.

Probably going to get a grip force beavertail too since I'm getting slidebite.

I'm not sure this ruling benefits all CA gun owners.
The article states "Under the court order, the California Department of Justice (DOJ) must change its systems to accommodate the unobstructed release of guns to gun buyers who pass a background check and possess a California license to carry a handgun, or who hold a “Certificate of Eligibility” issued by the DOJ and already possess at least one firearm known to the state."

Sounds like a CCW is needed (which can be a HUGE PITA to get depending on what county you reside in) or this "Certificate of Eligibility" which is really only available to gun show promoters, firearms dealers, collectors, importers, etc.... So, Joe Public still has to wait ten days. Is it a step in the right direction? Sure. Is more action needed? Definitely.

I only put Glock parts in most of my Glocks. Hell, most go directly from the factory Tupperware to the holster & I trust my life to them. Glock is the only one I'm confident doing this with.

    False false false false false.

Certificate to carry a handgun means a "California Handgun License". Costs 25 dollars and you have to do a bullshit 'test' and get 27/30 questions correct to be allowed to posses a pistol.

If accepted for a concealed carry permit that can now take the place of a CHL.

You need at least 1 to purchase or posses a pisol.

Hey, what's a yugo m57 tokarev worth right now?

I'm considering selling/trading mine along with about 600-700 rounds of ammo for it

This is not a modern reproduction, this is a surplus with a surplus holster and 3 mags with it. In excellent condition.

    It's only worth a dollar.
But to be a nice guy, and since you're a fellow TW-er, I'll offer you two dollars! :D

Yes there is other kits for the Long action 700's. I just had this one before I upgraded to a chasis style stock.

There's a difference between a certificate to carry a handgun and the Handgun Safety Certificate which you're talking about and is needed to purchase new handguns. Can you provide info showing that just a HSC is needed to bypass the 10 day waiting period?

Go into a gun sales store and talk to them. They should* be up on the laws.

*this does not mean they actually will know how anything new works
