    Its just more comfortable for me to shoot them right handed. And so many people don't make things ambidextrous enough (you have to buy reversed safties and shit). So its just easier for me to do it right handed

    Referring to the coating. I don't recall specifics of MMs finish, but maybe its stainless with a polymer coat. Or maybe its neither.

    I have one. I like it a lot. Points very naturally for me. I have the standard 887; not the tactical, and with a full choke it patterns well out to about 50-60 yards.
    It's the gun I carry for rabbit hunting in the winter, or partridge and deer hunting on rainy days, because it's so easy to clean up. Break it down, wipe it, oil the bolt, bars, & receiver, run a bore snake down the barrel, and button it back up. Takes 5 minutes after a little practice.

    With the recoil pad it's got you barely feel 2 3/4, and 3" mags don't hurt to shoot.
    Haven't tried 3 1/2's in it yet, mostly because I don't see the point.
