That is shitty and interesting all at once. So, .308 in an AR platform is not allowed but wrapped in a rife stock it is legal?

 

Caliber doesn't matter. Rifle platform does. The AR platform is restricted by name. Not by design. It's reatricted because it's scary. Handguns are also restricted. Anything with a barrel shorter than 18.5 inches is restricted. But at ar10/15 is restricted even if it follow all of the non-restricted rules.

Anything with a barrel under 4.5" is prohibited and very few can have one. You can't apply and aquire a prohibited license. You must be grandfathered the forearm.

Centerfire rifle cartidge magazines are limited to 5 rnds. Handguns can have 10. Whole bunch of retarded rules

 

Yeah. Range only for restricted firearms. GAYYYYYY.

If we had some badass ranges I wouldn't mind as much. We're trying to get ar15 classifications changed. And the magazine caps changed to unlimited.

 

What about AK? And I think Bullpups are ok right?

 

No AK or variants.

However we do have Cz/vz Pretty much an AK clone. Some bull pups are allowed if barrel is 18.5+

 

The one good thing about Canada that ive seen....you can pick up a SVt-40 for like 300-400. Same damn thing here is 900-1k

The 229 has sig e2 grips on it. It's a bit slimmer than the original grip.

 

Yep...I think I liked the M11's better, the E2 grips are a little slim to me. They may be nice just for carry though, not sure if I'll swap out when I get my M11.

Do you prefer it to the HK? How is the trigger? I've had my eye on a Steyr for some time.

 

2 to 1 almost. I just shoot the Steyr better. Faster on the plate rack with it too.
I prefer Glocks overall, but I've been trying the new striker fired offerings for the last few years as they've been introduced.

 

Have read a lot of positive reviews, but none of the stores around here carry them. I like to cop a feel on a pistol before I lay down money.

 

Just picked an HK USP with a worn slide, was considering going the cerakote route but my buddy thinks that will cause problems because of HK's tight tolerancing.. can anyone weigh in on this?

 

PM Greg, 07trd4x4. He is a cerakote applicator/gunsmith. He's done quite a bit of work to my firearms. He'll be able to tell ya.

 

Cerakote shouldn't cause any issues. If the slide is worn then it's probably been shot a decent amount. And you can always take some fine sandpaper to the inside of the rails to remove the coating there if it causes binding. I wouldn't think twice about it.
