Guess I should be more specific....was looking more for something besides another basic handgun. If I buy a regular, run of the mill handgun it would be a Sig 226 in 40. Was just hoping to find sonethi g unique and not just a glock, Sig, ect type gun

Did a bunch of shooting on saturday. 2.5 hours worth lol. Shot a few AR-15 5.56s, a Marlin 22 mag bolt action, Sig M11-A1, Sig P938, some sort of 1911 .45, and a Ruger GP100 357 Mag. Was a fun day.

    Thanks for the info
Better to ask how it functions then to waste money buying it to find out myself imo.

Anyone else use Tula 9mm in a glock? Any issues?

Which Tula 9mm...the steel case stuff? I heard not to use it in my Glock17 so don't but I heard its more dirty than other brands. I used Brassmaxx and Perfecta and had no issues. The rounds seem to be less tall side by side than other brands though they must push the bullet further into the casing.

Reloaded: where do you get your lead from online? I need a source of super cheap .451 (45 acp) lead. Just for my weekly handgun match. Doesn't need to be fancy by any means at all.

How about a Jericho, AKA Baby Eagle? I bought one in '94 as my 21st birthday present. It's definitely not going to be useful for anything other than fun on the range...because it's HEAVY. It's based on the CZ-75, and mine is very reliable and accurate. The extra weight really helps with recoil :)

I have one. Excellent pistol and yes quite heavy...at least compared to the polymer offerings of late. I also bought mine shortly after my 21st in '98IMG_0391_9034e5c2aa0c240bff01eea2617ae5da798e7d9a.jpg

I just picked up this ERMA ET-22 navy, priced as a parts gun at cabelas because of a broken firing pin, I've got the gun on the way to my ffl and and firing pin on the way to my house. Gonna have less than 200 in it after I get it shooting.

It's in great shape and has a matching box and all the paperwork

One can never have too many light bars.
I was at a local ammo shop in northern CA the other day and they had a bunch of Tannerite. I've only seen videos on it and assumed it was illegal in CA but the show had some so I thought it must have been legal. So I bought some and we went on our dandy way and had a nice afternoon with some exploding targets. I talked to a couple cop friends of mine and they said it's definitely illegal according to CA law but not Federal law so it would be up to the officer if he wanted to charge you with manufacturing explosives or not. Anyone else have any experience with Tannerite and if it's actually legal or not?

People have been arrested and convicted of felonies for using it in CA. That said, I have probably touched off 50 lbs of it one or two pounds at a time in the desert without issue. The key to understanding communist law is to just assume everything fun is illegal and do it anyway in a discreet fashion (away from prying eyes, and eardrums in this case). It's the American way.

    Penal Code 16460
    (a) As used in Sections 16510, 16520, and 16780, and in Chapter 1 (commencing with Section 18710) of Division 5 of Title 2, "destructive device" includes any of the following weapons:
    (6) Any sealed device containing dry ice (CO2) or other chemically reactive substances assembled for the purpose of causing an explosion by a chemical reaction.

    Penal Code 18710
    (a) Except as provided by this chapter, any person, firm, or corporation who, within this state, possesses any destructive device, other than fixed ammunition of a caliber greater than .60 caliber, is guilty of a public offense.
    (b) A person, firm, or corporation who is convicted of an offense under subdivision (a) shall be punished by imprisonment in the county jail for a term not to exceed one year, or in state prison, or by a fine not to exceed ten thousand dollars ($10,000), or by both this fine and imprisonment.

    Penal Code 18720
Every person who possesses any substance, material, or any combination of substances or materials, with the intent to make any destructive device or any explosive without first obtaining a valid permit to make that destructive device or explosive, is guilty of a felony, and is punishable by imprisonment pursuant to subdivision (h) of Section 1170 for two, three, or four years.

I always thought tannerite was different since it won't explode unless it is impacted. Hence why you can order it online and have it shipped without problems. Now I have no idea how CA is with this but I'd imagine if its for sale you could ask the seller

Most of the people that have trouble with the law in California with tannerite are doing very stupid things. If you do stupid things they throw the book at you. They sell it all over the place, and as noted above cold packs and some aluminum powder do the same thing. There are also thousands of diy videos on youtube detailing how to make all kinds of fun stuff out of every day items we all have in our homes.
