Nice! :headbang: Looks very similar to my 930SPX (non-pg version).

I love the 930 platform, no complaints and eats anything I run through it, but slugs are the preferred choice. I've since swapped the mag. ext. to a Nordic Comp. and run a different rail clamp up front (I guess I need new pics )

That's an awesome looking shotgun. I also have the Mossburg 590A1 Blackwater edition 18.5 barrel 6 shot....I also have a Nordic comp tactical bolt handle on order along with a low drag follower.

I don't know about that. You can get a 6920 for under a grand a lot of places. And it's a quality rifle that's built right. A comparable BCM or LMT is a hair more. Sure you could get some shit rifle like Bushmaster, Core, DPMS, etc. for less, but then you'd have a shit rifle.

And their 1911's are a bargain IMO. Find me another forged frame gun that uses 98% machined parts and only 3 MIM components for less than an O1991 Government Model. At $900 it's a great buy. Sure it's not a Wilson, but you aren't getting into one of those under $3k these days new.

Poor management and the unions are what are doing in Colt, not their products.

I should add I don't own a single Colt product, but I wouldn't hesitate to get one.

Thanks, and I imagine your SLP is just as badass!!! :D

I was surprised how similar the SLP and SPX are; I love the Ghost Ring and fiber combo - one of the best setups in my opinion.

I haven't done too much to mine. I try to keep costs down, but I have less than $700 into it and there's not much else I would do. Maybe a cheek riser or the Monte Carlo stock, and some ESSTAC shell holders, but that's it. This thing is setup pretty lean and functional right now:

Nordic +2EXT and spring (8+1, or 9+1 if you ghost load)
    S&J Delrin follower
ProMag rail clamp w/ QD sling mount
FAB PTK foregrip w/ custom Millett rail mount
    TDI-BK2 QD flashlight mount
    EagTac T200C2 (XM-L2 U2 chip)
    Spec-Ops Patrol sling

I was looking benelli M4 but the cost was big bucks and out of my range as I was able the get my SLP at cost +5% just under $735.

If I understand this correctly I can attach this to a safriland holster and it will lock into a MOLLE vest/pouch/whatever.
    Am I correct?

You also need the MLS17 (6004-17) or MLS18 (6004-18) receiver plate. For some reason SafariLand doesn't make that apparent, nor do they even list the MLS17/18 on their site anymore.

You can see the receiver on other sites, like this: http://www.copquest.com/safariland-mls-18-molle-receiver-plate-with-guard_23-6300.htm

*I might be wrong...looks like you could potentially run the MOLLE webbing through the MLS15/16, but then it would not be easily removable or as secure as "locking" the forked piece into the receiver plate.

Disregard the French, but this is the best video I could find that actually shows how the MLS works:

Awesome, thank you for the info.
I'd like to mount my M&P between the steering wheel and the E-brake and I was thinking that some MOLLE would be just the thing to mount the handgun and other stuff.

Just finished up a custom ruger Blackhawk for myself

The gun is a rruger new model Blackhawk in .45 colt with a 5.5" barrel

Here is what's been done to it

    -complete action and trigger job
-over sized base pin to take out the slop in the cylinder
    -super Blackhawk hammer installed
-the recoil shield and loading gate were scalloped
-steel grip frame fitted and installed
-wood grips fitted to the grip frame
    -bead blasted and blued

Turns out that the "raw steel" grip frame midway sent me was actually stainless.....so it's gonna stay silver or get cerakoted to match, haven't decided yet

Now all I need is leather

They said you can't conceal carry a M&P Shield:

Let me clear that up. Reading on various forums people said the Shield is to big to 'pocket' carry. I have baby fat (that's what I tell myself even tho I'm turning 33 this year) and my belly makes it hard to get comfortable with IWB so I always pocket carry my Kahr P380 but wanted to start carrying my Shield in my pocket to see:

    Ahh, makes more sense now.

I could CC a shield in my pocket pretty easily, I'd just need to change what goes in what pocket, but I'm a big guy (6'3" 240LBS).
