    Yep.
I'll try to find some locally, she's still researching/looking at this point.

A few additions to make me feel cool.
If you look at the LC9 get the LC9S! The trigger is way better than on the old LC9.

The lc9 is to small, she just shot the shield 9 and liked it except the heavy trigger and hinged trigger, currently waiting to shoot the XDs

Yeah, the Shield has a good aftermarket following.

Any of the pistols she's looking at are going to be in the 6-7lb pull range...like most striker fired guns.

Is she able to rack the slide? I know a lot of females have problems with it due to hand strength. The smaller the pistol the harder it is to rack the slide.

The walther CCP isn't your standard blowback design and as such is a lot easier to rack. Might want to look into that one too.

Yeah, she has the strength, an for how little shooting she has done lately I'm proud of her not limp existing in the 50rnds she shot.

We went to a pawn shop on the way home and they had a 4" XDs in .45 and she said she liked the shorter slide better, so I'm supposed to find her an XDs 9mm 3.3" with the stainless slide.

Bought a marlin xt-22 yesterday, and I need a scope to put on it, any recommendations?
I was thinking 2x?-32 or 40, budget is as cheap as I can get decent glass, less than $150

Was just looking at that, after FFL and holster cost she should be right at $500 (with 4 magazines, holster, 2 tone gun, magazine carrier, and range bag) the cheapest local was ~$500 for just the pistol (all black), 4 magazines, mag carrier, and range bag.

The normal package definitely isnt worth it. Crappy holster and mag pouch plus I think the carrying case is different...no thanks.

Have you considered HK? For a little more than $550 you can get a VP9, I've seen them from $599 to $649. http://hk-usa.com/hk-models/vp9/

Nobody local had H&K's that I saw and I didn't think to ask.
She went ahead and ordered an XDs 9 tonight and it should be at the shop by Saturday to pick up.
