I really enjoy shooting my 26, the recoil is very manageable being a 9mm. I like it as much as my 19 honestly. It just needs night sights and an extended slide release to be perfect imo

I stick with Glock branded ones...theyre made by Meprolight supposedly and the ones on my G22 and G27 are still easy to see in low light...G22 was made in 06, G27 was made in 08

I mean...i've heard a lot of people who use motor oil on their black rifles...

Rem Oil, Hoppes, or Lucas Gun Oil for me...tried and true

Not that I'd pay either price...but Battlefield Vegas has a mini gun and you can drive a tank over a car...and a package with a grenade...but The Gun Store has packages with complimentary cold beverages

That might be the same people I rented from years ago, but I remember it being on Boulder Hwy. Shot an MP5 and a Tommy gun, pretty fun.

I shot a friend's gun and he used motor oil. Left over clean stuff though, not used. It seemed to work just fine when we had it out.

I've also used it once in a family friends ar. He didn't lube it hardly at all and it was having issues feeding. Used a bit of Mobil 1 I keep in the truck left over from oil changes (new). Worked perfectly

Not sure how well it would hold up and it did seem a bit smokier than I'm used to but it worked just fine. Then again it is a lube so why wouldn't it.

As for fireclean....it's definitely similar to Crisco but not identical. Damn close though. Might have to try it after I use up what I do have. All I know is fireclean has worked well on my suppressed guns compared to clp, hoppes, and m pro 7

Just use an oil with a higher smoke point like grapeseed lol. Maybe some clarified butter.

Yea. Or grab a tin of linseed oil from the hardware store. The food grade variant of it is ideal for cast iron that sees high heat, so the non food grade linseed should work real nice

    going to be fun!
I had an armorer friend that soaked his Glock barrels in the same stuff slick 50 and Z-Max is made he was a retired metal/chemical engineer for nuke plants and was adamant about it.....

He said they used this stuff in the plants for many years starting in the mid 70's after Vietnam....

Z-Max now is selling it for gun maintenance solutions and cleaning.
