not me. time is of the essense - folding/unfolding - trying to get it out and turn it around in close quarters - easier to grab by an assailant and interfere with your ability - generally need two hands to operate. for home defense, I much prefer my handgun. there are times either is more preferable, however on average I prefer to use the lowest common denominator and assume worst case - someone in close quarters where I cannot get the gun around in time because of physical constraints or because my weapon is two friggin feet long - and I need both hands to operate - none of those are an issue with my handgun.

If you have a shotgun / rifle with a barrel shorter than 16" inches you better have a stamp for it...rather you traded it or did it yourself. NFA laws are not laws you want to mess around with. I would submit a Form 1 ASAP.

Hell, I destroyed all of my firearms, and decided to live a life of peace and happiness without the tools of war.

    Quotable also.

Haven't posted in a while. Gave up on dipping my Benelli so tonight I grabbed a couple cans of flat spray paint and some grass to use as a stencil and went to town. It is nowhere near perfect but I am completely happy with it. It will work for what I need it for and I have the satisfaction of knowing that I did it myself!

Has anybody built a AK from a parts kit? I'm tempted to build one (for dad), instead of a computer for me.
Brownells has a 80% lower for 70$ and I can get a yugo under folder for 400$

Sweet paintjob! That's probably one of th better results from spray cans. The only thing I ever spray painted camo that turned out right was a 5-gallon bucket seat...

Not easily. But you can easily switch it with several side folder or collapsible options.

    Ok, thanks
I think I'll go full stock now, then go sidefolder collapsible.

You can do an under folder. But you would have to pin the stock. The stock can be swapped out. I personally like skeleton stocks on ak47,74 and krinks.

I clear coated my nova yesterday and reassembled it late last night. Added a Limbsaver recoil pad and called it done.
