    going to be fun!
I never liked the Glocks at first (they never pointed well) but over time I have come to love the gun. I have learned to over come the lack of cut on the lower trigger guard and readjust my grip for better point of aim was the hardest part for me. But the multitude of interchangeable parts between guns along with magazines make this a very desirable firearm for many. Now that you can get conversation barrels for them make them even more appealing to change calibers on one frame with no issues doing so.

I've never shot them well. But I've also seen people who are not big pistol shooters drill the center out of targets with them. I was amazed when my boss bought a G17, took it to the range and started tearing up bullseye the first time out. I truly think it's based on the individual. I have a G19 but I can shoot my M&Ps or my 1911 much more accurately. No judgement.

I have a Glock as my primary pistol, and I still hate it's looks and bulk.

But it's reliable as heck, and cheap. Eats anything, too. Even the crappy reloads my buddy screwed up and put too little powder in.

Wife's PPQ(1g) is a much prettier, ergonomic gun. But a lot finickier. And twice the price.

It's the most accessible quality pistol. What's there not to like?

I have nothing against Glocks. I owned a Glock 20 for a brief time. I just didnt care for it. Never fit my grip right. Just felt...off.

I have no problem recommending them to people though!

I guess I should clarify, I'm in the same boat. I will and have recommended them to people I just don't like them personally. And I missed out on shooting the m9 in basic by a week lol

I'll never understand people hating on glocks for a defensive handgun because their looks.

People just like to hate on what is popular. Even with all the new polymer out there I still think Glock does it best. I do have an xd9 that has been flawless but I'd toss it before any of my Glocks.

BTW Glocks are THE defensive handgun. Glock owns the combat handgun title worldwide period.

I had a gen2 19 but I shot my fns better, so the glock was sold.

I'd like to get a gen4 and cut the medium beavertail backstrap in half to fill in the upper part..essentially like a grip force but better fitting.

I don't shoot my glock best. The 3" 1911 takes the cake. But I keep the glock around because it's a flawless gun after 10 years

I had a fns I actually liked it but I sold it in the great gun rush. I learned on a 19 and it was the only handgun I shot for years, so I was conditioned to shoot Glocks. Every polymer I have shot since leaves that "It just doesn't feel right to me" feeling. So now I have a whole family of Glocks.

I don't push them though, when someone asks for a recommendation I say try a Glock an m&p and an xd and pick the one that feels best.

Glocks have been weird for me. Gen1 and Gen2 never pointed right, always needed a small correction over what felt natural. Gen3 and Gen4 are perfect out of the box. I don't know if it's something that was actually changed on the Glocks or if I'm just naturally correcting for it now and don't notice it. G42 is the best shooting .380 I've tried of the 6 or 7 models/brands I've checked out, really impressed with it. Will always prefer a 1911 over a Glock though. Just like the feel of the single action trigger and steel in the hand more, but I won't turn down a free Glock in a fight.

I am not a fan of the glock, doesn't fit my hand. I think they are good guns but I would rather have my CZ.
