I'll take a Sig P226 Legion over a 92G everyday, and twice on Sunday.

A better way to put is a Wilson brigadier 92G

Hah, I went the opposite way, xds to shield. Just goes to show that there are a lot of excellent guns out there, you just have to find which is best for you.

@Sacrifice if you're set on a single stack, check out a Sig p239 also. It's 8+1 so it's the same height as the shield with the extended mag in

Seriously though. There has never been a better time to be a gun enthusiast. More excellent options in guns now than there has ever been.

Truth, although it's kinda a double edged sword. So many good options just makes the decision harder haha.

Truth. The other problem is that they can't all survive with so many competitors, mostly small ar15 manufacturers. So many came out of the gun rush then couldn't survive in a normal market.

Yea, I know what you were getting at. To each their own, but I'll still take a mass-produced Gray Guns Sig over a mass-produced Wilson Beretta. Period. No question.

I carry the xds 45 now and I can't wait to get back to glock. The xds is nice but it left a bad taste in my mouth having to go back to the factory 3 times starting the day I bought it, it wouldn't chamber a round.

Other than recall issues with mine firing two rounds at a time it has been flawless....Oh yeah and it did discharge once when I dropped the slide.

The first time it went was cause the case extractor almost hit the damn primer, the second time was the recall and the third time was because it would not extract an un fired round

Sorry to keep beating my Glock drum, but this is a huge reason I like them. Extractor problems? Order one online and have it fixed yourself by the end of the week.

A huge advantage to xds though, you can get a sub compact carry gun in 45. That is pretty sweet.

It's not the extractor the damn port is to small to let an un fired round through. I was born and raised in Glock and the one time I stray this happens... Never again

I just bought a new Springfield XD 40. It is the service model so it holds 12 plus 1. I'm in love. It's going to be my new carry gun as soon as I get my Galco holster in. Should be arriving in a couple days.

Not set on a single, i just think it would be easier to conceal. I hate loading singles, haha

The singles are slightly easier to carry. Setting my shield side by side with a 26 though there is not as much difference width wise as you would think. Plus you get the advantage of 10 in a mag and a 17 round backup.

Don't get me wrong though single stacks are still easier to carry and I have no plans to sell my shield. I've actually been thinking about a little 380, a Ruger lcp or s&w bodyguard. One of those with a clip you could hide anywhere.
