I wear a Lenwood Leather hybrid every day. Have been wearing it for about 2 years now & it still looks as good as the day I bought it. 1.5" wide so it fits easily in all my pant loops, but I couldn't fold it over if I tried. If you like a leather belt, I'd highly recommend one.

I purchased an Ares Gear, Ranger belt a couple of years ago from Larue Tactical. It's a well made, tough belt that should handle anything I'll be up to. I don't wear it very often though. My EDC setup consists of a Kahr P9 in a Milt Sparks VMII, and my regular old 1.5 inch leather belts handle that weight just fine. However, for those times when I'm out in the woods, on the range or feel like carrying something full size, then the Ranger is ready to go.

I've run 1.5" The Wilderness 5 Stitch Instructor belts (2 of them) for ten years. You can send in your buckle for a discounted rebuild also.

No need for a 1.75" belt. The 1.5" is reinforced enough and fits every belt-loop I own.

As with all these riggers belts, you can't beat the adjust-ability of them. I've been running my ass off this past year and lost 25 lbs, just cinch up the belt. The excess is getting a little long though and starting to interfere with my holster. Might be time to send in the buckle for a smaller size belt.

Well I went and shot a few different handguns this past Saturday.

I have to admit, although I have said that I am not a fan of Glock, I shot the G26 better than the others I shot.

I also learned that I do not want a 45 as my CC. Much rather have the extra rounds a 9mm can provide me.

In my experience the recoil from a 9mm is more manageable out of a subcompact anyway. I'm a smaller guy with small hands, so recoil management is important for me. I can place a followup shot faster with a 9mm subcompact than I can with a .45 subcompact, so that's what I carry. :notsure:

9mm also doesn't detach your retinas shooting from a vehicle or indoors. Nothing like blowing flameballs of pain from a short barreled .45 to keep that tinnitus ringin'!

    Lol.
Happy to see you BECAUSE I have a drum mag in my pants.
    :quickdraw:

There's that too. Not that a 9mm is comfortable (especially not 124gr +P's) to shoot in an enclosed area, but it's not as bad as a .45

Buddy of mine recently was invited to a shoot for a company outing. (Maybe I should go work there...)

Anyways...the main attraction was a Barrett 50 cal. Said they were instructed if they wanted to take video or photos, to either be standing right next to the shooter's hips, like up against them, or at a 45 degree angle at a minimum of 10 feet away, as the shock wave from the muzzle would shatter the cellphone screen if not.

I don't know if it will break the screen, but it will knock one over.

lol, reminds me of that Steven Seagal movie w/Tommy Lee Jones. Under Seige? When they fire off one of the 16" Battleship guns and it ruins Jones' character's hearing.

It was certainly the best acting that movie had...
