A few people OC in my area, mainly handguns and the LEO's love it.
I only OC when I'm on my way to or from my land, only because I hate interrupting my drive in and out of the property to get out of the vehicle, take my holster off my belt, and get back in.

Same when I lived in Northern Arizona. I'd open carry to and from the desert, and to and from the gun shop I worked at. No one cared. Just about every time I went grocery shopping I'd see at least one open carry.

Usually I'd throw my t-shirt over, but didn't give a shit if it printed.

Soooo I'm lost... Been in the market for a g19 gen4 for the new cc, but today I got to fondle a Sig P320 and it felt amazing. So is there any downfall to the Sig? I was born and raised on glock but that Sig is amazing.

Off topic but any input on buying my first AR pistol? I've had a run of the mill ar rifle for a few years but would really like to have a pistol!

I don't have the time or knowledge to build one but might attempt it later on, just looking to buy one now.

Currently interested in the diamondback db15 pistol but am open to suggestions on other brands?

I can't tell you brands or anything like that, what barrel length are you looking at?
I just built this 7" last month, tons of fun but really really loud.

I'd prefer a 7"-7.5" barrel length. I've watched a few reviews on YouTube about them and that's a common complaint is how loud they are and of course the fireball that comes out the barrel. I'm just looking for more or less a reliable truck gun that will run well but also take some abuse.

7" is perfect for truck gun, mine fits perfectly behind the back seat and is handy inside the truck.

Hey Ian. How's that Sig treating you? I've been looking at Sigs 1911's but heard varying reviews and the ever present feeding issues. Those are awesome grips too. Brand?

The 1911 is my dad's new pistol, I get the P226 9mm now! hope to shoot them both this week! My dad is the Sig fan. I would like a G30 someday.

Finger grove insert, under trigger is made by Peace Grips for the 1911 and the side grips are made by SkinGrips and are called Operator 1911 Grips, for full size 1911, not too expensive, but very comfortable, my dad has a good size hand.

    I love my sig 1911

As far as ars, just build one. Barrel, trigger and optics are what I'd spend the most time on researching and money spent. Are you just wanting a pistol or eventually doing a sbr?

Building doesn't really require much. Can you work on your own vehicle? Follow directions and tutorials? It's that easy...YouTube can help. Brownells has vids too.
