I did finally get her to go to the range with me today though. She had fun and even shot an AR. Baby steps I suppose.

My brother does when he's off duty. He says it feels normal after a while.

But yeah it's more difficult to draw it if you need it quickly.

Mine has never shot a gun in her life and has never really been around them. But I have been getting her to handle them as I have gotten her to do some home training proper grip, racking the slide, loading the magazine, point of aim and proper finger placement etc she is coming around......

You guy's/Gals in Cali i see state Atty. Gen. Kamala Harris has a proposal that would outlaw guns with “bullet buttons". And all rifles have permanently affixed magazines......

Ya that's EFFED up. I have a .401 WSL manufactured in 1910. It has been in my family for over 100 years, and according to those regs (if I still lived in SoCal) I would have to weld the mag in? Ain't happening chief.

(not mine, but pic to illustrate detachable mag. Prison models held ten rounds)

I did. It's absolute nonsense! First they require us to have a bullet button, then they outlaw it. Clever.

Panics are great for selling crap. During the last one I sold my Mini 14 for $950 and two 420 cans of 855 for $350 each.

Enough to keep ARs and mags off the market for a solid 6 months. I sold a bunch of pmags for $50 a pop and a bushmaster for $1800. My only regret was not having more crap to sell haha. I can understand buying mags at $50 a piece if a ban is coming like what happened in Colorado. Mind boggling that people in free states would pay that over just waiting though.

The ban in Colorado on high capacity magazines didn't do anything haha. Now they just sell magazine "repair kits" that basically amount to a disassembled magazine that takes 5 seconds to put together.

Yea. On one of the local gun forums, there's an add in the classifieds titled something like "Post Obama EO gun & high cap mag sale!!1!"

I read that as "Overpriced shit in here!" His EO did nothing to magazine capacities or banning models of firearms, so I don't get the point of the title.

On another note I've been carrying my G26 AIWB in this Zorn holster for about a month now, its awesome. No matter what I'm doing it stays in place, is relatively comfortable and is damn near invisible.

Being held up with a Wilderness Tactical belt. They're local to me so i stopped in. They measured me and didnt have a belt in my size in the style i wanted so they made one on the spot! Amazing customer service.

I have a feeling that a lot of us here are not old enough to remember the ten years when this was the norm. I remember 30-round mags being $50+, because new ones were illegal. I remember when an AR pistol didn't exist, because it was illegal to make a pistol with a barrel shroud. Or how about a threaded barrel for a pistol? Want to pick one up for your new can? Nope. Not for those ten years. And not as a California thing, or a New York thing, but an everywhere thing.

    Lest we forget.

I remember those days very well as I started my collecting of firearms in the mid 80's....

Should the test of having your Constitutional rights be balancing a budget? If so, would anyone who has filed a personal Chapter 7 or 13 Bankruptcy also be considered unfit to own firearms? Is there a certain credit rating that meets the test for the Second Amendment?

That sucks. You could take the 93 down and skip that section of cali. Its probably slower though.

Without a concealment holster though too it would be kinda pointless.
