I love the MP5's, got to shoot a full auto one in Vegas a few years back.
I looked into getting one (Semi-auto of course) but they seem a little complicated vs getting a Sig MPX.

Yeah, an MPX SBR is definitely on my want list.
The MP5 isn't all that complicated. The roller-locking system is, but the rest is just AK-style bent and welded steel. This one is an Atlantic Arms AA89 with papers (but still semi-auto :( ) and a factory stock. It's very pleasant to shoot... even more so with the Octane9.

I've never built an AK (Just not a fan) but from what I've seen it looks a little challenging, but that's likely because I haven't studied it.
I'll check out the Atlantic arms models.
Now instead of building a firearm I'm looking into how to use a lathe and looking at getting a small lathe to Form 1 some suppressors.

A true semi auto HK Mp5 might be complicated. But just get a Zenith which are made with HK tooling and are semi from the factory. And not toooo terribly expensive. Its on my want list and depending on overtime might come soon. Its about as close to a real MP5 as you can get without doing a parts kit which has added issues.

The Sig MPX's are good guns but I will say after shooting one SBR and suppressed i went another route. It was giving more gas in the face the i cared for. And being a left handed shooter im used ot gas in the face lol

I wish i could have a full auto MP5 though! Gun range by me has one and one time i was there they did a special "you buy the ammo and shoot it" sort of deal. Think i bought 200 rounds or so (at a slightly inflated price since it had to be factory ammo bought from them ) but it was lots of fun!

I clean my guns every time after I shoot them it may be a day or two after but I just like taking stuff apart really.

For a 1972 with 86,000 miles on it and being a one owner vehicle from an estate $12,500 it does have some body issues that need repair but he will get that taken care of without any issues...

He stole it for that price. Unless the body issue is something major but based off one picture, assuming it runs good that was a steal. Makes me sad thinking the one ive been eyeing is 5k and absolutely no where close to that lol. Definitely not 5k more close thats for sure! Ive seen ones needing minor work that run going for 15-20k and good condition ones going for 25-30k :(

Still a very nice looking FJ40!

Just got back from the FFL. Got my new guns :)

    CZ Scorpion Evo S1
    CZ VZ 61 in 7.65 Browning (32auto)

Gotta say Im in love with the vz 61. Light weight, great trigger, and can actually be used as a pistol!
The Scorpion.....im kind of meh on it right this second. It sucks as a pistol but ive shot an SBR'd one and its a totally different gun. Trigger is meh to crap as well. Then just minor things like the ambi safety isnt to my liking.

Luckily both with be SBR'd. Im more excited for the vz 61 even though the stock is kind of silly but it looks awesome IMO
