I bet it would be really quiet with a can, having no gas system and all. I could see it used for it's intended purpose, namely hunting. Most places only allow 5 rounds for hunting rifles, even then you only need one if the shooter does his part.

Holy crap, they let you use #2 shot on turkeys in Mississippi? We're limited to #4 bird or smaller up here.

 

One question from the above screen shot, how does one that has parallysis in both arms and both legs operate a rifle for turkey hunting?

 

They don't have to have total loss; by definiton partial loss or impairment of all four limbs also qualifies.

 

they usually have special devices and are set up somewhere and they use a mouthpiece to either pull the trigger or activate the trigger.

a 500/440/400 grain 500 S&W is 2800 ft lbs of energy and below....

 

The only thing I can think of is that he took the energy for a .357 and added all six rounds together.
Only thing that makes sense; even my 7mm Rem Mag only generates about 3200.

 

That has to be it because i'm thinking something with that much energy from a hand gun would put a serious hurt on your wrist....I shoot 7 rounds in my Desert Eagle 50AE and I'm done for the day.....

The only thing I can think of that generates around 4500 lb/ft is the .375 H&H, and they definitely don't chamber that in any revolver I've ever heard of.

Looking for a 22LR pistol to be a suppressor host, top of the list currently (No research done) is the M&P 22 pistol.

Get the compact version if you do. It's actually made by S&W and is a much better size. More like a G19. I've had both.

The S&W 22 Victory looks promising as well. No direct experience though.
