I just tried pushing down on the post and around the base. I could not get it to move.

Edit: I pushed down on the detent in the front...That did work. But it was impossible to turn the post at the same time.

but how do you get your fingers inside the outer posts to turn the inner posts?
Or you have to use 2 tools...one to push the detent and the other to turn the center post.

If you push the detent in with the tip of a bullet you can also turn it by using the bullet.
It's kind of difficult to explain but it's pretty simple to do.

There was actually an article on this a week ago about this. Turns out she was just trolling Twitter to stir the pot up.

I have three vortex scopes and like them all. Have a HS 2.5-10, Vortex Viper (non-pst) 6.5-24 and a Razor HD (gen 1) 5-20 (think thats it). I can notice differences in all three. The HS and Viper the glass seems the same but some other things feel different. The Razor obviously feels and looks amazing...but is heavy.

The Vortex warranty also rocks. The HS had an issue where it stopped wanting to adjust consistently. Sent it in to Vortex and a week later had a brand new replacement. Mind you this was 3-4 years after i bought it. NO questions asked on their end.

What you have it on? I had one on my M40 mos. I thought it was a great rmr.
Also ran the strikefire 2 and vmx3t on my Aug.
For the price, I think Vortex is a great alternative to overpriced optics.

I went ahead and ordered it with a 10% off coupon code via optics planet.

Taking a few of the kids out later for my own fireworks show. Love pulling out the 686.... everyone's (mostly everyone) into autos now and they all gawk when she's barking.
