    Nice Smith.
I notice the same thing whenever I take my GP100 to the range. It's usually the only wheelgun there, and the .357 has a pretty distinctive sound compared to the snappy sound of the 9's most people are practicing with.

Love those 686's, my dad has one with the 6" barrel and when I was a kid I used to load it up and hit cans 35-40 yards out.
My next purchase (after a .22 pistol) is going to be a 686 plus with the 4" barrel.

went to the range today for a few hours today, got the AR on the paper at 100 yards with the buis only, but i still have a lot of room for improvement, need to work on my form shooting both the rifle and handguns. With the rifle, i was mainly grouping high and to the left. the range master was my chiefs , chief, so he was more then helpful with me. He said next time I go he'll help me wth my shooting techniques. I learned a lot today and am looking forward to hopefully going next week.

Going to need lots of practice but it was fun, looking forward to eventually joining the 2 gun(ar/pistol) club.

Cousin works at Smith and Wesson. Got to go and put rounds downrange. They let us fire ten rounds from the new .45 Shield- nice little gun and it does well firing the .45- enjoyed it more than the 9mm.

Do any of you guys recommend any specific snap caps? I want to practice my trigger control, and also have dummy rounds while at the range ...

I have never had any problems with any of the various makers out there, any one of them should work just fine

It's nice to physically see the results of poor trigger control. Plus they have the nifty target thing for practicing around the house.

Put the Nikon on today, should should decently for now.
I just wish the Nikon had a bit more eye relief so I don't have to push my head forward.

I love it already, very comfortable and the trigger is absolutely amazing, I think the previous owner adjusted it as low as it will go.
My only complaint so far is the cost of the accuracy international mags, but I ordered a magpul 7.62AC mag to see if it works (For less than half the price).
