That's really not bad pricing,CCW permit cost in my state is $115, $80 for the app and $35 for fingerprints.
Still sucks for the permit lapse/wait time though.

What really pisses me off is that since they never processed the change of address that I submitted, if I'd been pulled over or had a cop ask for my CCW Permit for some reason it wouldn't have been considered a legal permit and I could have been facing fines and possibly jail time. So I would have had to go to court with my supporting documentation to get any charges dismissed because some paper-pusher at the state didn't file mine.

    Got lucky there.

That would've been fun to deal with.
My state doesn't even require the permit.

I guess i bought the only Sig that has basically zero aftermarket support. Really wish i could find the large backstrap for the SP2022. It comes with small and medium. They made a large backstrap for awhile but stopped and everyone seemingly gobbled them up.

Ours is working through a constant backlog. They're supposed to get them to you within six weeks, but last time I applied it took a few months. Might take less time now that the permit's not required to carry concealed anymore; might be less volume moving through the state police

Mine doesn't require it any more, but having the permit still has its perks. If you get pulled over with a permit you're not required to tell the officer that you're carrying, whereas without it you have to tell them as soon as is 'reasonably possible'
Plus with the permit you can carry in the state parks, in a bar if you're not drinking, etc.

Depends on the county. County where I got mine took a week or two. Where I went to school you could walk in and out with one in 10 min.

Just picked this 870 Express up from its 10 day CA jail period! After mail-in rebate, was $320! Who doesn't need another shotgun? Going to make a few cool mods to it ! :)
