Can one of you guys explain the difference between .223 and 5.56 to me? I know there is a difference and that they are not interchangeable in all firearms but I definitely couldn't explain the difference to someone else. Knowledge is power! Lay it on me.

My carry gun rides in the small of my back, so no. But I did have a couple in the paint above the rear door on my Tacoma from when I tried to grab my orange hat out of the back with my hunting rifle already slung.

Slightly different chamber sizes and pressures can possibly lead to catastrophic failure.

Oh no he swung back I don't think many people would take getting punched in the face sitting down. It was just cool of him to realize he deserved it after the fact, and yeah be cool enough to go shooting with later on down the road. This was a year later though, so don't think it was the next day or anything

New part for the CZ Scorpion came in today. The new handguard. Gotta say I am impressed. Its nicely made and feels much nicer than the old one IMO. I never liked the rails on the old one so Im a much bigger fan of the smooth finish. CZ definitely put thought into it thats for sure.

Installing it was pretty simple. The old barrel nut gets tossed since the new handguard comes with a new one. Installing the new one needs a 21mm socket (i used a 1/2" drive deep socket, 6" extension, and ratchet) but other than that its straight forward.

My only complaint is that the new handguard doesnt come with a M-Lok rail. but at $99 bucks for the rail Im ok with it not having one too.

I watched his explanation video and he said he is used to carrying a Glock in the thumbdrive hoster, so when he used his thumb to flick the lever he took the safety off the 1911 he was using that day. Pulled up, realized he had the sherpa, pressed down on the lock and while pulling up his finger went in the trigger guard.

I really don't like the design on the Sherpa for that exact reason. Having to press in right next to the trigger while you're drawing it makes it too easy to have a nd.

That's what practice is for. I've used Sherpas for years and never had any issues with my finger getting near the trigger.

I just feel that having a thumb release like the ALS is an inherently safer design.

I came across a good deal the other day! My friend came across a guy that was selling 4 bulk boxes of thunderbolt 22's. He bought them for $60 bucks for all 4 boxes, so when my friend brought them over so I could give him the cash, the boxes said $29.99 on them with a sticker that looked like it came from Durham's or Dick's or someplace like that. ???????? but it was a good 2200 round buy for me.

Yeah, I hear you. I have used thunderboltsfor 30 years +and I don't think I've had enough of issues to ever stay away from them unlike golden boys. But I have felt 22's like that from time to time

umm, no .233 here, but you already know I have that option. I have never shot a .233 in it though. I unsure what I want next but Im thinking 308
