I'm too thin/boney-hipped to have a gun at 3. Prints like a mofo! And isn't comfortable for me.
I could possibly carry the revolver around 1-2, but like getting into my pockets, pretty much the reason I wear pants with them lol. Usually 3:30-5 is where my Taurus 85 rides, Ruger rides around 4:30-6.

Meh id be more concerned with the gas blow off thru the cylinder gap of mine and gettimg 3rd degree burns than what the bullet would do, the barrel is almost always between my thigh and my guy, i did have to adjust everything over to my left pant leg when i first started carrying but not a problem. Could graze some sackage at some time due to body contorsion i guess but burn would be worse i think

Yeah my right pocket is useless now... I keep a kershaw knife in it cuz it clips on, but i used to keep my phone there but its so big now that is almost out of the question anyway.

I can still use my pockets, the gun doesn't dig into my manhood and i usually carry a Glock 23

Occasionally I'll find that it digs into my abs a little bit but an undershirt between the gun and my skin usually makes that manageable

Oh and my Glock is in a full holster with a light on it

The first holster you try won't necessarily be the right one, but a good holster plus trying it in different locations across the front of you, and possibly adjusting how high you wear your pants will help...then it's just a matter of getting comfortable with carrying there

Don't buy the LGS's $20 Uncle Mikes holster, get suggestions on what others use for that location...buy several and try them out

When you find the one you like, sell the others to help make some money back

I used to balk at spending $50+ on a holster until I tried one...and never looked back

This is my everyday use holster

My holster has a "wing" on it to push it further back into you as mentioned before to help with printing. My only complaints are it makes bending over forward difficult, and every once and a while it'll snag my belly hair, but an undershirt solves that

Had it done. Normal price with shipping, sight installed and zeroed, and a cover plate if you take the red dot off is around $300 from what I've found. Most include a cerakote job on the slide.

Yey i've seen the manufacturer mark on others but i couldn't see it on this one. Also its a billet not forged. I purchased it from Antares Arms in Nevada, TX off of gunbroker and its on its way, I hope it isn't some knockoff pos. They told me its at least 7075 t6 so im hoping it will work out well with my billet lower. Thanks

M3 tactical kydex. Active duty army guy makes them outta ft Bragg I believe it is. I love the xds, mines the 3.3 in 45acp. Capacity isn't great but just another reason I love that holster it has a spare mag spot. Trigger has a little creep and over travel but on a carry gun it's plenty sufficient

For anyone interested in an AR platform, check out my brothers company. It has been over a year in the making, finding just the right components to craft a well manufactured, made in the USA, weapon. He's an officer in the special forces and has turned his passion into his career.

Insurgent Tactical is a veteran-owned and operated business with the intent to produce not just a rifle, but a tool, by implementing the years of knowledge, experience, and application learned along the way. The concept behind the company’s name is to pay tribute to the Nation’s founding Patriots, the insurgents, who are responsible for the founding of this great nation.
