Nope, two hand grip on the gun. All of mine are low and left till I get around 500 rounds through them.

The author doesn't lie, but he isn't really right. The advantages if a 6.5 aren't apparent until beyond the ranges most shooters will shoot at. To say they aren't better us to deny simple facts and evidence from every long range shooting competition. All things equal, a 6.5 Creedmoor has a 30% higher probability of hit at 1000yds compared to a 308.

I had somebody tell me they were shooting 300 Blackout to 1000yd,
So I asked "what's your dialup?"
"Cause you do realize there is 600"-650" drop with that cartridge at a grand,.."

His answer "ahh well um huh,.... Kentucky windage?"

Pretty good read, if it aint broke dont fix it. People sometimes ask why i deer hunt with a .243, the main reason is that i have done it for almost 20 years and i know the round pretty well and am comfortable with it. Inside 400 a well placed shot on a deer, there wont be a dimes worth of difference in it and a 7mm rum. Dead is dead. Afain for the average to maybe slightly above average shooter that is anyway

Agreed, but neither cartridge was designed hit a target accurately at that range anyway. That's not to say that a person can get very good at those distances with his or her particular rifle, ammo, and lots and lots of practice. For the average shooter, you'd want something different for practical purposes, but the average shooter will never confidently take a 1000 yd. shot either.

Some of it is the mentality. People are in the age of better or what's new, like that new phone or GPS or gadgetry, what have you. Sometimes when things really work and do a good job of it, you keep it, use it, and don't fix what isn't broken. Does that mean that we can't improve or try something different? Of course not. This is America and we have the freedom and ability to taylor our lives to the way that it suits ourselves. There are just too many variables to compare when each human is his or her very own individual. What works for you in your situation may not be what works for me in mine and so on. If your gun works for you, that's all that matters.

Those guys are easy to spot at the range, constantly got different stuff chasing the magic wonder round. Then can't figure out why the magic wonder round isn't working,... must be the powder, I just changed lot numbers, the humidity is really high today, the humidity is really low today, this wind is completely unpredictable, I just got this new scope, this scope is old and it's a pos,...

I like different, that's why I shoot 708, getting a free barrel kinda helped too. I've been shooting the same rifle for 10yr, it's been touched up a couple times with Krylon and on it's third barrel and scope (the barrels got shot out and the scopes got transferred to other rifles as the quality of the glass got better)

I use that in battlefield 4 so it must be true. If you aim high enough and spray you can hit anything! :p

The range we train at is a mountain, with the beginner shooters we would like for them to concentrate on learning to hit steel but if they at least hit he mountain we're good with that, it's a start, now lets work on hittin something smaller.

I've built two. One with stock furniture, and one with magpul. Duracoated that one with FDE. This pic is before the parkerized top one and duracoated lower one.
I've also put the original grip on the top one. They were both Romy G kits, from back when the barrels were included. Ninety bucks apiece for the kits, and Tapco flats.
