I have a guy that does custom Leather work for both my dad and I for all of our holsters. I'll post some pics when I get home, but if you have dimensions and a base idea he'd do it pretty cheap. Just a thought.

Ugh. No. Too many calibers already; I'm definitely not looking for an obscure one like that!

I was just curious, because I've never, EVER met anyone that had a 7.5 Swiss before.

Not that I'm one to talk. If I can't pick ammo up at a wal-mart not super interested...

Don't really want .40 cal right now and I sold the gun for more than I bought it for.
First gun I've ever sold, probably won't sell anymore but ya never know, I've got life to deal with while only working part time and going to college full time.

    Just as well.
.40 is a pointless caliber now anyway.
Just kidding; I just wanted to get a rise!

Only gun I ever sold was a glock 20. I kind of regret selling it. Then I think how it wasn't that comfortable for me to shoot and the ejection pattern was weird (one of the first gen4 glocks). Still wish I had kept it. I have a few guns I don't shoot that would definitely be the first I'd sell. Selling the glock was a bit easier since I had another 10mm I'd gotten at the same time and determined I'd shoot way more often.

I do want to get a 40 at some point. Only cause I literally have everything to reload for it so it's not really "another" caliber to own. Just a bit of time to load up some ammo.

Meh, I've sold plenty of guns...usually to fund other guns...I'm big on trading when I can with people I know

At least 4 times I've sold Glocks to fund different Glocks bc of various reasons such as getting RTF2 frames or NibX slides

    I don't need 2 G19s

Most of the time, outright sales go to friends or family, but on occasion I'll sell to a random person. Usually that's because I don't like the gun. I've owned 2 XDs and 2 1911s, and I just can't get into them as shooters so off they go to make more room financially for other things that I will shoot. 3 of the 4 I've made a profit when sold because of the deal I got to begin with. I see no harm in selling or trading one here or there as needs and wants change...my gun safe stays at least as full, and everyone ends up with something they want more

No offense, but that seems like a really good way to get guns on the streets and eventually into the wrong hands. It is a risk.

Please tell me you're doing a legal transfer where required.

That having been said, I've sold plenty of guns in private sales. I've also backed out when the people are sketchy or don't want a bill of sale/PICS check.

I'm careful about who I sold to in the past. At least 2 went to employees of a local gun store, again most go to friends and family, and then The rest have all had concealed permits and been willing to meet me in my patrol car

It's SC...as long as they're of age and free of any disqualifying criminal convictions

Gotcha. SC seems super easygoing with private sales. Cool.
