What??? Most gun owners are buyers AND sellers. Absolutely nothing wrong with selling a gun. As long as the sale is legal, and there is no reason to suspect it's not, then it's no more the sellers fault than a FFL's fault if a gun ends up on the street used in a way it shouldn't. What risk? If it is a legal transaction and you have no reason to believe it's not, or any reason to believe it is for an illegal purpose, the risk is not the sellers.

Maybe you live in a state that doesn't trust it's citizens and doesn't allow the legal transfer of firearms between two people who can legally own them, but it doesn't mean it's wrong where it is legal. Why would anyone first assume that a guy selling his own guns is doing it illegal? What in any of his post would make someone even think that in the first place?

I've known a lot of gun owners in my time and have known many of them to sell their guns from time to time, as most gun owners do. Not once have I ever thought they were doing anything illegal. Never even crossed my mind to think that. Seems an anti-gun way of thinking for that to even be on ones mind when hearing of a gun sale.

Have no idea what backpage is, but there is nothing illegal about buying or selling a gun on armslist. I've sold and bought many guns with armslist and I can guarantee they were all 100% legal.

    Funny,

it's a combo and takes a second. Besides, it's already locked and loaded and my Kimber 45 is in the bedside drawer.

I was just kiddin, just thought it a lil overkill to have it 7' off the ground and locked, since both of those are for kids I assume. good call on HD tho, you can't beat a shotgun. I have talked to a few people (mostly women) that want a pistol but don't wanna carry it, they want it for HD, and I try and talk them into a shotgun cuz they are generally easier to operate, easier to aim, and have like 12x the power, most of the time that information does nothing to pursued them tho cuz they already have it in their mind that they are going to protect their home with a 9mm that they never shoot.

No thanks, each of these has a holster already. Most for small of the back carry.

I hated the trigger on my G19 Gen 3 but I bought it anyhow because I knew I would put a custom trigger in it, always that option. :notsure:

I think the Kimber in .45 is my next gun. I loved the way it felt in my hand. Now I just need to see if they will let me shoot it prior to buying.

Yeah, I did several times to see if I was missing something. Still see nothing that would warrant people thinking something wrong or illegal with selling guns you no longer want or need. I find it odd. Selling guns is almost secondary to buying more. I don't think I know a single gun owner who doesn't sell at some time or another. As I've gotten older I've sold off a lot of my guns and replaced them with fewer but higher quality. I only have around 30 now and may sell another 5 or so in the next few years. Again, I just found it odd that someone would question the appropriateness or legality of selling a gun.

Mine is the Ultra Carry with crimson trace laser grip. Sweet controlled recoil. Best 45 I've ever shot.

Got this Streamlight TLR-6 set up over the weekend... Laser/light combo for ~$95. Seems pretty stable considering the G26/27 doesn't have a bottom rail and only attaches to the trigger guard.

Fit and finish is excellent... Looks like it belongs on the gun. Still need to get it to the range and sight it in, but looks pretty close from the get go. Light and laser are both much brighter than expected too!

Only issue I ran into was a getting a new shell for my Alien Gear Cloak. They offer a G43 TLR-6 shell, but no G26/27 TLR-6... Yet.

They sold me the G43 one and told me to cut/heat it to see if it would work, and send it back no questions asked if it didn't... Pretty good customer service! It didn't fit initially, but a min or so with the heat gun and she is good to go!
