Is that 25 a yardage count? Because if you only hit it 4 times out of 8 at 25 yards I'd call that horrible accuracy...

Well without an accurate firearm you'll never really be an accurate shooter... :notsure:

yeah I think my FIL got those for like $540 a piece and we found some hornady leverevolution in 325 gr for about $30 a box so its not horrible for what you are getting. they started making the LR in 250 gr which would be more ideal for deer I think

Accuracy is subjective, to an extent, though. My antique (1906-ish) Winchester '94 wanders all over the target when you're shooting paper with it, but when I was carrying it deer hunting it never missed and I never had a deer go more than 10 feet after I shot them because it was always either heart or lungs. I shot deer that were standing still and deer that were running, at distances varying from 20-75 yards, and on 5 different deer the points of impact could all be covered with the palm of your hand.

So it's not an accurate gun, but it's also a very accurate gun, lol.

only thing worse than liberals bashing guns is conservatives assuming liberals hate guns

that is a silly video @Pchop and politics should be kept out from the firearm b.s. thread

lets talk more guns and less silly nonsense

pfff taking a little mellon on the chin never hurt anyone :anonymous:

lol but all kidding aside, that tin trash cap probably couldn't repel copper head bullets enough for ricochet precautions... I imagine at least :fingerscrossed:

I think too many people are caught up in moa of hunting rifles when the kill zone of animals is far from a moa area.

I can see the obsession if you're taking 500 yard shots, or even 300 yard shots. But around here the only way to do that is if you're hunting a hayfield or a cornfield, and that's rare. I think that the longest shot I've taken on a deer has been like 175 yards.
