that could be accurate, but I really only print if I'm sitting hunched over, cuz my gun pushes past my side a bit. meh I feel like most people aren't looking for a print there anyway

I used to appendix carry but I stopped feeling comfortable with it. I now carry at 3-4 o clock with a slight tilt forward. Luckily I have a shield 9mm so I never print and its comfy as hell with my leather holster. Comfy carrying with no safety but I do have an issue with the barrel being anywhere near my balls lmao

Does anyone have any experience with the S&W Bodyguard and the Ruger LCP II? I am on the fence between the two. Looking for a small gun for the truck

With memorial day sales starting probably middle of next week I think I'd wait just to see what sales there are.

If it was a month away I probably wouldn't wait. But being as it's only next week I'd personally hold off :)

i dont think you're going to get a better deal than the shield with the $75 back right now.

My buddy has the LCP II so I've put some rounds through it. Its a nice tiny pocket piece and the new trigger is WAY better than the original LCP. If this is the type of gun you're looking at getting, get it. Its a good purchase. Granted, it's still a mouse gun and I recommend you take a look at the S&W shield. It's just barely larger and not much more money. There are so many sales on them right now. I've had my shield for like 3-4 years and it has been great.

I am a few weeks from buying my first gun. Thinking between the shield and Taurus p111. Great reviews for both and price around the same. Does anyone here have tried both? I plan going to the range next week to test both guns and see which fits better in my hands.
    Any intakes would be appreciated.

Probably not. A few of us just picked one up in 45. I'll shoot it this week. I will tell you, dry firing the trigger - it feels pretty darn good.

147gr HST preform almost as good as 45 in gel. Cheaper, higher capacity, easier to shoot....

In the extremely rare case I'd have to use my shield, I have complete confidence in those HSTs to do their job.

I have shot both, and the overall size is basically the same (like less than 1/4 wider for the Taurus I would guess) I normally would say go with the Taurus because it is usually ~$100 cheaper and its a double stack, but now you can get the shield for the same price I would lean on it just because its a S&W just because you will most likely never again be able to get a new S&W for less that $250, and you will most likely always be able to get that Taurus around that price. neither are bad choices really, I have shot the pt111 a bit more but that smith is hard to pass on right now (not for me because its not a revolver, but for a semi-auto person for sure)

I really like my shield 9, although I haven't had a chance to shoot the .45 yet. I have held them and I would think they would be pretty snappy because they aren't much bigger than the shield 9/.40
