I know exactly what it is. It's a nifty design. But he said specifically that he was looking for a rifle for personal defense, for which a .22 survival rifle is pretty poorly suited.

    Does the caliber matter?

Just curious looking for something besides a hand gun currently because of California state laws you must be 21 to purchase a hand gun and I've got 2 months before that day. More looking for people input that own it. Self defense was a little exaggerated. More like something to have in the truck to I don't really know why I just want more guns. Currently have an AR-15, AK47 that does not have a serial number because it was made at a gun build, 308, mossberg shotgun home defense with heat shield.

I was just foolin around and it got a little out of control.

I don't have one, but looks like a fun package for plinking and small game.

You could get a .22 Hornet in a poly stocked semi-auto. Plenty of punch for plinking, varmints, or people at a pinch. Nice and light to carry, with a smaller caliber with fairly light ammo that won't bother you to hump around. :notsure:

A word of warning - a firearm without a serial is a serious federal violation.

I'm sure you meant to say a model of an AK.

Yeah, he probably meant that it doesn't have a model #. That'd make a lot more sense.
