Not enough recoil generated, would be my guess. WWB is loaded very lightly (they sell it cheap, so they try to produce it as cheaply as possible too), so if you've got a stiffer recoil spring than stock (or even a stock one that's particularly stiff) they won't cycle properly

What do you think is the solution?
    New spring?
Shoot a few hundreds rds more and see if it helps?

Edit: I didn't have any problems with the Winchester during the first 100 rds

i would start with not shooting Winchester, but I also have a deep rooted bad taste in my mouth for Winchester ammo so I may be a bite bias

Yeah, run a few more boxes through it. Keep it well lubed to help reduce any drag that may be contributing to the problem. Maybe stay away from WWB until you've broken her in in good shape.
My Shield wouldn't eat WWB properly when she was new, but now that I've thrown a few thousand rounds downrange with her she gobbles it up no problem.

These are just practice rounds. Hollows are for the nightstand and carry gun.

I know it isn't in the grand scheme but it is longer than I have shot.

I picked up a quality bipod at my of a today, that will be a nice upgrade over the backpack. I'll try to get to the range again Sunday or next week. Gonna put a level on my scope, go through and retorque everything with locktite.

What brand is the bipod? There's a huge difference in quality of some out there. There is also a learned technique for shooting off a bipod that may not yield great results at first.

Really though a backpack is fine. I do a lot of prone shooting at long range over one with no problem.

You might not want to locktite things for now while you work the issue. Locktite keeps things together for the long haul. If things aren't staying tight for 10 shots, you have issues locktite won't fix.

The backpack was alright. It is oddly shaped and slick material so it didn't stay put well.

    It's a Harris bipod.

I was just planning on putting a dot on the 4 bolts that hold the rail on the receiver

Yes, loctiting the rail, GOOD, loctiting the rings, NO! And I would use blue, not red, If you ever want to get it apart again.
And I will promote it again, a squeeze bag in your support hand goes a long way for making a shot very solid and stable! Weather bench shooting, or prone,

I agree a squeeze bag is a good idea, but I rarely use one. When I'm shooting on my range, I usually use a rear sand bag of the correct height to be on the target without any adjustment. In the field I usually use something I already have with me for rear support instead of carrying something specifically for that. Definitely though, the rear of the rifle needs supported for the most accurate shooting, especially when just starting. It can be done without, it just adds a level of difficulty.

I have sometimes used my left fist as a rear suppose and just squeeze harder or less for minute height adjustment but the is considerably less recoil in a .243 than a .308 and you might end up with a black eye if your not careful... So basically i have been little to no help and your welcome

Any recommendations on a match grade .22 rifle? I was looking into the Savage mark II fv-sr and adding a decent scope. Not looking for ultimate precision but more than your average 10/22

What do you mean by match grade? To me that is Anschutz quality or comparable. There are a lot of very accurate 22s out there that would not be quite match grade though. What level of accuracy are you trying to achieve?

I'd like to keep it 22 just for the availability and cost factor. I know inherently .22 is only so accurate compared to other calibers.

Match grade might not have been the best term to use. I just want something nice. I'm sure most any bolt action would be fine to be honest

My marlin XT-22ZR is plenty accurate with Geco ammo, if it was off of a bench it could do MOA @100 and with just a bipod and shitty shooter (myself) it'll do ~2" at 100.

Most any 22 will shoot well. There are some lemons, but most are fairly accurate with ammo they prefer.
You say nice, and to me that means no plastic. In the nice category I would say a Ruger 77/22, CZ 455, Browning T-bolt, Savage B22 is where I would start. Marlins shoot well but are a bit plain.

Those are three good options that wont break the bank. My RAR shoots ~MOA with just basic non-match 22 ammo (CCI standard velocity mostly). My dad has the CZ 455 and its a nice rifle and shoot quite well too. My brother has the Savage and its another good rifle too.

A 10/22 can also be made to be quite accurate and fun too.
