For future reference, if you ever have to move them again (hopefully not, but you probably will  ) Those 1-foot sections of black iron pipe that they sell at the Home Depot or Lowes work awesome for that sort of thing, and they're not as wayward as golf balls. I used them to move my 700-something pound safe on my own a few years ago. The only problem is that it's harder to change direction with the pipe than it is with the golf balls.
Six of one, half dozen of the other, I suppose. :notsure:
I guess you could always move the safe 90% of the way with the pipe, and then just position it with the golf balls...

Finally got to the range and sighted in. Shooting 150 gr Winchester XP Whitetails. Spent quite a bit of time working on consistent trigger pull and proper breathing. I have some bad habits that I am trying to correct.
3 shot group at 100yds (1 1/2" spread), I know the rifle is more accurate than I am right now. I know I need more range time, but this will definitely kill a deer. :infantry:

I had considered the pipe but like you mentioned it is harder to make turns. And I had 4 turns to make all in the 40 feet I had to move. Plus I would have had to buy the pipe. I already owned the golf balls :) It was kind of a spur of the moment, f-it, get it done sort of decision to move it when I did anyways (had planned to move it just was going to wait for help)

As long as you've got permission from the Fed's for the suppressor, at least.
Maine is the same way, FYI. No permit for concealed or open carry. No restrictions on mag capacity, etc.

My Dad gave me a Remington 870 Express recently. Its probably 4 years old, so not an antique or collectable. Its got some surface rust and could probably use a good cleaning. I'm thinking about changing the stock (to be more comfortable on my wrist, it doesn't like to bend much) and pump out and maybe purchasing a shorter barrel. The priority is getting the rust off. Maybe I'll get it cerakoted.

    Thoughts?

Well it's not a valuable gun or a collector's piece, so you can do pretty much anything you want in terms of customizing it without having to worry about lowering the value (short of spray-painting it hot pink or something). So basically, do whatever you want to make it yours.

so I'm looking at 22lr rifles, specifically looking to shoot at 100 yards. I found the CZ 455 is the most accurate out of the box according to the internet...

i found the threaded and non threaded barrel versions.

One is 20.5" the other 16.5"

I would like a can in the future but i can't get past a $200 stamp, its ridiculous.

    What are your guys thoughts?

There's not much velocity difference between a 16" and 20" 22lr. If you're using a scope the extra barrel length for iron sights isn't a factor. A threaded barrel can't hurt in case you decide to pony up the fee or suppressors are removed from the NFA.

Make sure your upper floor is strong enough to handle the weight of the safe. Sounds obvious, but...

And, pay a safe mover - they have some really cool toys.
