Polymer80 frames feel awesome and work great. I just wish they fit factory holsters.

Well, This is where I ended up! The whole point why I wanted the scope so extremely low was to obviously get cheek well lineup which I wasn't achieving. But I did have the scope so low that with the sunshade on I couldn't get my cover back on front even with the taper of the barrel . So I took a different route. I put the medium scope mount set up back on the gun that I had when I started this project a week ago, and found a company that made a very cheap and simple solution for my cheek well height issues, and I have to say it is very comfortable and I actually like the American flag in the top because it grips into my cheek nice. I came to find outthat the company is local, literally 3 miles away from me so I met the guy face-to-face and took one right out of his hands :)

I like that, no finger grooves. Crazy guard undercut. Seems to be missing the slide release.

How is the grip angle compared to factory? Same?

I didn't know they did not fit in factory holsters, is the reason because of the trigger guard?
If so I would think that a light bearing holster would work, I'm thinking of getting a bravo concealment holster, light bearing, RMR cut.

The takedown lever is missing because the LPK came with the wrong spring (17 spring, vs the 19 spring), we attempted to modify the 17 spring to work however every time the slide cycles the takedown lever would fall out.

The grip angle is the same as factory as far as I know, however because of the high undercut trigger guard it is much more comfortable and natural feeling.

It looks a little funky, but it's very, very comfortable.

Another cheap option is the stretchy ammo carriers that slip over the butt. You can add dense foam underneath the top to gain height. Usually for less than $10. It doesn't work well if you need a lot of heighth.

Yeah, I've tried those in the past and quite frankly, IMO, they suck donkey ass!

Well, for less than $10 they do what you would expect. For a temporary fix or for a stock you don't want to put holes in, they're better than nothing. Never sucked a donkey's ass, so I can't comment on that. :)

For a precision rifle, yeah, they would suck. For a hunting rifle that gets shot 10 times a year, they work.

Trigger guard is different, rail area is different. I don't think even a holster for guns with lights would work, but if you find a non-custom that does, let me know.

Seems like WML holsters should work, the safariland GLS apparently works for the bare pistol as well.

It appears I may have been wrong about the grip angle, according to some posts on a forum it's a standard 1911 grip angle.

I did forget to add, you don't HAVE to drill to mount the cheek rest! you can also use 2 sided tape or Velcro.

I've fired about 50 rounds thru it, all 115gr brass at my indoor range. Comes with 2 Magpul mags. No issues with mags or feeding.

    Stupidly quiet setup.

I'm generally seeing 6-8 months return time on class 3 stamps. I have four in the pipeline. I think once all the 41F influx gets thru, the wait time should shorten a bit.
