Were they reloads or factory ammo? I've had reloads that were improperly reloaded and were super low on powder also

Im thinking so, I wasnt there when they were shooting so just going off of what the cartridge looks like. Weird to see the primer popped out and the whole slide jammed up.

If the primer had a pre-crack in it I have seen them shoved through the casing in the firing sequence. I have a couple of fired casings with half the primer missing out of it sitting on my desk as examples

maybe the primer wasnt seated right? I'll have to post a pic of the cartridge, it looks like the bullet is pushed down a little too far but theres some wrinkles in the side of the shell casing. Maybe from trying to close it?

I love my XDS 9mm, but I refuse to buy a Springfield new, it has to be used.

I have the EDC low profile or whatever it's called. Mine didn't take as long to get to me as quoted but it's plain black so they probably had some stock built up. I'm guessing if you wanted different colors or other stuff they offer it's being made to order.

I've trained with a CCW with a safety for so long now that disengaging it as I draw is completely automatic. At this point I have to focus more on NOT disengaging it when I draw it for a cleaning or other maintenance. Obviously it's different strokes for different folks, but all of the guns that I carry have a manual safety for the sake of consistency when I'm training or carrying.
Actually, now that I think about it the only pistol that I own that doesn't have one is the G19, and I haven't carried it anywhere in years.

Very good, a G19 is a Glock. 2 points for you.

I carry a Glock 26 as my EDC and never had problems with an internal safety.

    Couple of reasons, really.
As discussed above, I train with and prefer a manual safety.
I'm a smaller guy, and the G19 prints easier than my Shield or Bodyguard.
If I'm carrying a larger-framed gun under a jacket or sweater I tend to carry either my 5906 or my 1911 because their grip angles seem to point more naturally for me.

I very much enjoy shooting my Glock. It's very accurate and reliable. It just doesn't fit my wants/needs for a carry gun.

Good for you. Keep it up.

I see someone hasnt had their coffee this morning.

I train with my 26 for the fact that I know it the best because I put the dedication into it. I know the feel of it and what to expect when I fire but thats really with any firearm. Stick to one and then train like hell with it. I would love to switch to a 34 or a 19 but dont want to train myself over or use a bigger frame.

No, I've had my coffee. I'm just a dick.

I've never had a problem with an internal safety either. I just prefer (and have hundreds of hours and thousands of rounds training with) a manual safety. :notsure:

I mean I wasnt going to say anything but I'm glad it's out there :anonymous:

Each person is different and use to different things. Whatever makes that person comfortable is what they should shoot. I was never a fan of people asking for opinions on the internet when I am a believer of trying it for yourself and figuring it out yourself. I could ask all day why people want a sig P320 with my mind set on getting it. I would hear itll kill you and it fires when dropped but if I want to get one then I'll more than likely have my mind made up already and going to pull the trigger :bananadead:

No I would never buy a sig P320 or any sig for that matter. I am a glock guy through and through.
