When I do decide to clean mine I toss it in the DW when the girlfriend is not home

I wash mine in the sink completely disassembled (slide and frame) let it dry then lightly lube.

I own sig and glock and others, so whatever it is you may be getting at you're probably barking up the wrong tree.

 

All I do is remove slide from frame disassemble slide and clean small parts wait for the DW to do its thing and put back together then blow it out with the compressor lube.....Done!

 

I don't bark, I'm not a dog. Was curious, figured you did since you were defending them.

Not once did I defend Sig in this conversation. All I said was that their statement wasn't absurd. It's a very corporate statement meant to cover their ass. I don't know how you can disagree with that even if you do think it is also absurd.
