I have the masdefense charging handle. It's basically a raptor charging handle but cost $30

I have a big on in my wash room that works.
While true, training, proper training requires using BOTH hands, strong and weak appropriately. So Ambi controls are vital.

Thanks for this. I added it to my parts list. The extra $15 is worth it for me to get ambi controls. I hate paying for a name

That is true, a lot of people do spend more on the build than training/ammo/shooting. My builds are pricey, but I shoot/train/buy ammo so much Im poor.

Part of why I usually limit my shooting to training with the CCW and then some plinking with the rifle. I'll run a few hundred rounds through another of my pistols or revolvers every so often too, or I'll pick a rifle to do some distance shooting with sometimes. But I can't shoot all of them all the time or I'll go broke, lol.

I'll be the first to admit that I've probably spent more money on guns than I have ammo. But I'm also not trying to oper8 either. I'm a better shot than your average joe but I'm also no 3 gun champ

Big mistake. While I understand defensive carry (CCW) training is critical especially from a probability standpoint, long rifle transitions and training are also vital.

Most people believe they are a better shot than most, but then do training, especially while moving and engaging multiple targets on the move, its a whole new world.

Its not about being an "oper8" or "tacticool" its about reality. You don't need to be John Wick or anything but not having a plan because you don't think it will happen or happen to you, isn't a plan.

God, I need to go train more lol. I hate talking, I wish I could train 8 hours a day!

But seriously, people think because something's probability is low that it could never happen. It happens daily to all types of people.

But yet people know the probability of getting into a car accident while driving and texting increases substantially, but they do that anyway like idiots.

Better to ask what I have not done.
Ambi handles are the way for lefties and the raptors are awesome as any where you can grab will release it. I love them. All of my uppers have a raptor on them

I tried this little guy when it was on sale from Primary arms for around $7:

I honestly like it a little more than a couple of my ambi handles. Worth the sub-$10 price if you have a charging handle laying around.
Or you can buy a complete one for $35.

Shop around though, I've found better prices from Midway or PA.

Yea. I don't lane shoot often unless it's to quickly check something. Otherwise it's all outdoor on the move for me.

Some of you asked for a write-up on the Battle Arms Development Enhanced pin set. Got mine in the mail today. I only got the takedown pin because I didn't want to spend the extra money on the pivot pin when theres nothing wrong with my current pivot pin but now I wish I had. It's definitely a quality item that's well made. I do however think they are pushing the envelope with the cost. They offer three different flavors for this pin set. The cheapest is made of the Manganese phosphate and it's $30 for the set (this includes both pivot and takedown pins, springs, and detents.) The middle grade is a silver Titanium which is $37. I've never been one to accessorize my firearm so this option was a turnoff for me. The highest grade is a black ionbound Titanium priced at $43.95. I would've really liked this set. It's made of better material and it's black so it fits in with the rest of the rifle. But then I have to bring myself back down to earth and realize your paying almost $45 for a couple of pins. This is where I say I think they have overpriced their product a bit. $30 is reasonable, $37 for a premium grade... ok I can see that but $45? Thats too rich for my blood so the Manganese phosphate it is for me and I really think it's a worthwhile product.

On a sidenote. Just the takedown pin, spring and detent was $15 before shipping.

Anyone in here put their hands on a PPQ 22? Considering it for a suppressor host, it seems better built than the P22 with an aluminum slide vs pot metal.
