Yeah, work keeps getting in the way of my TW-ing. I'll have to take that up with my manager at my next review, lol.

You'd best be certain to take your pants off when you poop, then. Having them around your ankles would make it tough to run and gun.

Sorry but I can't support this part. You're far more likely to have your vehicle broken into and have your firearms stolen than you are ever to need it in a real situation. Sure, you can lock in in a safe but realistically then its not of much use anyway.

As for the rest though, I can agree with an ar for home defense. Even at that though I doubt you're walking around with a sling on your shoulder prepared at a moments notice. I just don't see where the pistol to rifle transitional training would actually be very usable unless you are actually at war.

Dont support it. That is fine.

You're just very narrowed minded and oblivious. No worries, I respect your stance.

Again, I cannot customize the worst day of my life nor where it happens. If I could I would remove all violence, all natural disasters, all enemies, and to be politically correct, I would ensure no ones feelings where hurt. Oh and everyone would get participation trophies to ensure they felt better.

I live in a nice little town and was keeping a handgun in the center console. Someone busted a window in my truck to get to the tool bag that was in the back seat. LUCKILY the alarm scared them off and they got nothing. I never leave a firewall in my truck anymore. I don't leave tool bags in there either. Nothing of value even.

That just depends on what you're going for. I've had a few fnx 45s, and even more double stack .45 acp handguns, and they are cool in theory but not very useful for me. I'm a huge 1911 fan and I would much prefer a dan wesson 1911 which would cost about the same

How big are your hands? Double stack 45's don't fit mine, so I'd vote 1911. :notsure:

Of course, my hands are small enough that even on a 1911 I needed to fit an extended slide release so I could drop it without shifting my grip. :anonymous:

I agree with your thought process..........

Train for every conceivable scenario, cause when the defication hits the rotating osolallator, it will not be a time, place or scenario of your choosing.
By training for every scenario you can conceive of, you have added tools and options others may not have.

Even if there is only a 1 in a million chance.......

    There's still a chance.......

And just my 2 cents worth, If I ever have to clear your house, shotgun all day long...

    My house, pistol every time.

People don't have to AGREE with me, but NOT being able to understand that SHIT happens, you CANNOT control when, and you CANNOT customize it, is mind boggling to me.

It's ALWAYS better to have something and not need it, then to need it and not have it.

Any house I'm going through with the possibility of a threat I prefer my 11.5" SBR.
Higher capacity than a pistol or shotgun, still extremely short, and I have the ability to use it as a blunt force weapon more effectively.

Like your logic! Personally, I prefer my suppressed MP5 or suppressed 10.5" SBR. There are many reasons why an AR is superior to a sidearm or shotgun for HD, but it's all personal preference.

Personally, I wouldn't want to be shot by any gun, big or small so something is better than nothing but people fail to realize what certain guns do in CQB situations.
