I can except that, but no gun manufacturer is exempt from having problems from time to time.

We got #7 roll tide... And i think that we were the 1st named to break 2% i cant believe its that low. Like i have a half dozen or so registered guns in my house so that means that for that to hold average the next 6000 people dont have a gun. Thats just crazy to think

yeah Mississippi was a shock to me and I was surprised that TX was lower than Alabama but they also have like 7 times as many people as we do. My big take away is that it took getting to the top 5 before there was a %3 ratio of guns to people (which still is not 3% of the people owning guns but I can't believe how low gun ownership is nation wide)

Being a swing state, I'm not surprised Ohio is right in the middle @ 23

VA has the most registered Fully Automatic weapons of all States @ last count of 42,450 in 2015 and i'm sure it has went up....:D

I think the gun per person data is bullshit because there is no way of actually knowing the real count since the period of time these states require records to be retained range from three to twenty years except that Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, and the District of Columbia do not specify the period of retention.

yeah I have several guns that were my dad's or granddad's that I'm sure were never registered... like back when you could order one out of a sear catalog haha. but at the same time I worked for the census in 2010, and they told us if you are in a house that you can see 10 people living in it but the head of house says 3 people live there, you were legally bound to put that 3 people live there, so the population count is off some too. plus I only had to make house calls to people that didn't fill it out and mail it back in, so no telling what those people put as "accurate numbers"
he said something about Chicago having more guns in it then the whole state of Illinois had registered which is prolly accurate too haha

Matter of fact I am in a huge fight with the Census folks right now for refusing to fill out the forms and talk to the person that came to my door on more than one occasion.I told them to FUCK off on more than one occasion when they threatened me with jail time. They didn't like receiving back blank forms either....

I'd never answer a survey asking how many or if I own guns

yeah but the face to face transferred guns are still registered to the original owner in most cases so the would still be counted in the data used here I would think.
