All states have background checks if buying from a licensed dealer. Not all states require background check if selling as an individual as long as both parties are residents of the state the transaction is happening in. The feds can't control that because it is interstate commerce and they have no jurisdiction.
On a state level, some require checks when selling between individuals.
I thought Nevada was open carry except in Vegas?
We have flown into Vegas many times and use it as a home base to go to the mountains since hotels and flights there are dirt cheap. I've never seen anyone in Vegas OCing. I see it plenty outside of there and in Utah though.

I think you're right about Vegas. They passed a law for background checks on private sales, but the FBI wouldn't cooperate.

PA only has the 4473 for long guns and private sales don't need to go thru a ffl.
Handguns have an extra form that goes to the state police. It's called a record of sale...some say it helps in case of lost/stolen firearms, others say it's a registry. I don't think cops can just enter a name and have the records show up, as that sounds awfully like a registry which is illegal by state law.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
just bought 400 rounds of WWB at walmart for $80. didnt know it was this cheap again. this is like pre 0bama prices is it not?

the ATF has already been caught keeping NICS checks on file when they were supposed to be discarding them.

anyone who thinks a NICS check isnt being saved is naive. i dgaf what the law says

they have been using nics as a registry back as far as the 90s. maybe local LEA cant get ahold of it but your are crosseyed if you think the NSA and CIA dont have every bit of that going all the way back to when the internet became mainstream
