Firearm BS thread

In PA you have to have pistols transferred through a FFL, so every pistol I've sold I just met at a shop.

Rifles don't have to be transfered and can be sold face to face. I've sold two; one was a Marin 336 in 35 Remington and the other was a CZ 452. Both times we just met in a public place (parking lot with cameras) they looked at it, and handed me money. I wasn't worried with meeting these guys since a niche caliber lever gun and a target-ish 22lr rifle isn't really something criminals seek out, so the though that I'd be robbed wasn't in my head.

In NC private sales of handguns require the buyer to possess a permit. But if a buyer has a concealed carry permit but gets convicted of a crime and his permit gets revoked, How do gun stores and private sellers know that the permit is valid or invalid? Or do their permit get confiscated?

Disregard all of the stragglers, After i shoot out the center I look for other places to shoot. All in all I’m geting better as a shooter I think.

Did a lot of reload drills and stove pipe drills. All in all I’m pretty happy with today’s training.

Anyone know of any decent Mag/Holster combos for a 1911 (commander size)?

Ultimately would love an IWB and OWB version. Or even just a slim dual 1911 mag pouch. I've got an Aliengear IWB Cloaktuck for the 1911 that is very comfy. But I need a better way to carry an extra mag or two. And the Aliengear IWB Mag carrier is worthless. Damn thing falls out or off the belt very easily. Plus it's not comfortable to wear at all.

 

Finally found a good AIWB for my Sig. real happy with it after a few days with it.

 

Who makes that?

I’ve pretty much come to the conclusion that my p229 need a wml since it’s my bedside gun, but since my apl-c is going to go on my 19 as soon as my holster shows up, I can’t decide which light to go with. I’m thinking a apl gen 3 or a x300... decisions decisions

I just finished this one (for a thigh rig) and made the mag detachable also so it could be worn as just the gun or if he wanted to wear the gun iwb in the other holster i made him he could carry an extra mag. and here is a double mag holster i did that a guy put an ulticlip on so its reverable iwb/owb

 

Awesome I have that model and would love to carry it but the shit holster that sig gives you with it is no bueno.

 

i searched all over for a quality IWB holster and this one definitely takes the cake.

 

Ya I bet I also carry a glock 30s in a galco king tuck and now anything but a NICE IWB paddle holster is the only thing that feels good so looks like I'll be ordering this one for the sig yeeeehaaaaw

 

Stealth Gear U.S.A. IWBs and mag and/or flashlight pouches. They're very comfortable and have breathable fabric. Wear them every day.

 

This is why gun laws are retarded. It's a mishmash of feel good BS that the people who wrote it have no idea about. Gun laws aren't made for safety, they are made to discourage people from bothering with it.
