Feels weird dropping $400 on a g43 and not walking out the door with it. Gotta wait 7 days now till I can pick it up.

Going to depend on your area. Anywhere from 350-500. You are trying to sell a pretty entry level AR in a saturated market. I'd honestly just oil it up and toss it in the back of the safe unless you really need the money

A new entry level ar15 cost about $400-$600 so I wouldn't expect to get very much for it.

X3 on price for that AR being $500 or below

I picked up a used rifle of similar build for $500 recently but only paid that much because I built the damn thing a few years ago for a buddy and I've been there every time it's been fired...and it's my best friend and he needed the money plus it came with a light and sights

Buying from an unknown owner I'd have given maybe $450 max

I should add that duracoated usually makes me keep looking

It's not that I have an issue with it, but it's kinda like stippling on a Glock...it ain't my thing and I'm not gonna pay you for your customization

I owned 2 guns that were cerakoted and I wasn't a fan...so I just steer clear now but that's just me...I'm sure there are plenty of people who don't mind it but it's kind of like customizing a vehicle and then trying to sell it...aint gonna get much value out of the add ons

I have a similar AR I built from all PSA. I would keep it as a back up.

I believe you could get 450 if you found the right person. But don't let it go for less. In fact.....it may be a better option to trade with someone who does not have cash.

I don't really need it for a backup because I have the 300blk as my night stand rifle, the 3030 for close range deer and the Grendel lower will be done soon. If I really wanted I'd build an upper for 556 for the 300blk but I don't have a use nor want for it. Plus I still have two more stripped lowers I could build.

Or somebody else would find it, lol. You see those videos on youtube all the time, of somebody stumbling across someone else's cache.

Usually the ones that are posted are stable food, medical supplies, etc. If you find somebody's cache of guns and take it, you don't post that shit on youtube, lol.

If someone found my cache...we have a major issue because that means not only were they trespassing on my land, but they were digging or breaking into buildings

Precisely. But you see a ton of people burying them on well-traveled public land. :der:
