I do. I use a Primary Arms 4x. I love the thing, works perfect. Just wish they had some smaller prism scope options. Would be nice for my AR9 pistol. Also, I actually like that prism scope's can function without a battery too.

I keep having conundrums about what new carry gun to buy. Arex Zero1 vs Sig Sp2022. Sig is cheaper, but Zero is a beast that won't die.

Solid plan. I've got a collection of them on my gun safe, and have been considering a Henry .22

I have an ALG AKT trigger on my Zastava NPAP M-70 and you are correct, it makes a world of difference.

I just ordered the Holosun 515C (red dot/circle) for my Scorpion. It has the solar panel that supposedly will power it with the battery removed in daylight. For my AR, I have been thinking of eventually getting the Vortex Spitfire 1x prism.

I was pleased today on my range trip. Pistol range was closed for repairs/upgrades so I took the Scorpion over to the 100m range. Using factory "iron" sights, I was getting consistent 6" groups.

I want to check out those Spitfires. I like Vortex. The reticle is different from Primary Arms. Need to compare them.

I got the same thing a couple weeks ago! However, a friend of mine bought a Henry 30-30 brand new paid something like $750 for it and has had nothing but problems. After having to go through the hassle of sending it back to Henry two different times he told them to keep it and got a refund. The craftsmanship was pretty poor. It had burrs in the action, would lock up to the point where it would have to be dissembled after every couple of shots and could not get it sighted in with the irons at 20 yards (Stayed consistently shooting 3 inches to the left)! Yes, we used different ammunition and different shooters. We ran about 80 rounds through it so it should have broken in the action. After that experience, I'll stick with my Marlin 336's, just my .02

dang that is real shitty, this is seemingly a problem with a few other manufactures and some of their new production variants... they just "simply dont make them like they us to"

the lever action I really really want anyway is not a Henry, and indeed a Marlin (ive previously posted this pic as an example) albeit not a JM gun and a current year production.
I just look at this and instantly fantasize about the Alaska Homesteading Life. As I push papers across a desk :pccoffee:

That 45-70 is a gun I will own at some point in my life as well. My buddy got me a 336 in .35 pre-safety made in '72 or so. I love that thing, great shooter and made of quality.
