Same here, but they get in the way with my maxpedition carry holster in my edc sling . I have to carry a non suppressor sights gun because they get stuck when I draw.

If they were the same $$, I'd say HK. But the cheaper cost makes me think Sig. I have a CZ Scorpion. But my long slide Glock 9mm does most of what the CZ does in a smaller package. And then I put them all down and reach for the 10mm.

Keep an eye out for what is to come for the Scorpion in 2018. You might find a use for those magazines.

Yeah, the magazines cracking could be an issue. Sounds like CZ does pretty good at replacing them under warranty. Manticore makes steel lipped magazines (but there have also been a few that failed). As far as cracked receivers, I havent read on that yet. I did have a cracked hammer, but the replacement came in today from the warranty dept.
As for '18, Ive read a couple places that this might be a civi option. Hopefully with a real extendable brace and not just photoshopped. Have to see if it would be priced better than getting the parts and building it.

I have hands on experience with an NFA MP5 (fun switch and short barrel, unsuppressed) but not the MPX, however I was going to buy an MPX before I impulse bought the parts for my 9mm AR.
If you want classic go with the mp5, while I love the mp5 I like the modern design (AR ergos) of the MPX and the modularity.

Go for it, I don’t think either is a bad choice.

I really want to shoot one of the compact 2.0’s, I got to fondle one and it felt almost as good as my full size, but I think I would want to shoot it before I bought.

Freaking jealous I wish I had an SBR MPX or any fun to shoot firearm at work by my saw so when I get frustrated I could empty a mag feel so much better and get back to work hahahaha.

I went with the Zenith MP5K clone. Love it. The main thing that put me off (At the time) of the mpx was the cost and the a lot of reports of lots of gas to the face when shooting suppressed.

I ended up with the Zenith and a Scorpion Evo. Both are quite fun. the Zenith cause its the MP5K platform and the Scorpion just cause its fun, customization (and increasing more and more), and has been reliable for me.

dont mind the Czech Point Skorpion in the picture

I think I see a zenith in my future. My 8 year old is fascinated by it. He’s shooting competitions with me and I think he’d have a blast running it in PCC division once it’s SBR’d. Either way I think it would be fun.
