Glock knuckle mod I feel I can do on my own. Stippling is another thing..I don't think I could do that much less do it well or right

Not that I consider Kirkam an expert on the AK (I lean more towards the Puzikas school of thought), I thought this was a pretty interesting video.

    It's where I'd send mine.

I've done the knuckle mod on my own and it's not hard if you have a steady hand and know the fundamentals of sanding. Some people don't and hack their shit up by being too aggressive and not leaving room to grade down in grit for the final product. So much more comfortable to hold and fire my glock now. If anything, I'd start there and see how you like before taking the plunge for a full stipple job.

Hopefully it will be more than vaporware and more reasonably priced than the KelTec Sub2K

Around here (if/when you can find them) Sub2K's are closer to $600+, which is nuts considering their facility is about 5 minutes from my house.

I'd start with the knuckle mod first. It moves your hand a bit higher on the grip so the finger grooves might be less bothersome. For hands your size, you really should go up to a G22 though.

I bought a gen2 less than a month after release for $450 plus tax...had a gen 1 that I paid about that for also and sold to finance the gen 2

I just checked Ruger's site. MSRP is $650. I'd be willing to pay that for the ability to leave the optic mounted when broken down.

I don't have range time with the sub2k, but from what I have been told it is nothing more than a spray and pray and really isn't accurate at all....
If this new ruger pc can be accurized like the 10/22 I can see this one really being a hot ticket item... they offer a 10 round with none threaded barrel so for sure this will fly off the shelves here in the NY area
