I'm sorry, but telling a staff member "FUCK YOU" doesn't help anything. Especially since there is a very firm no politics rules on TW.

Well...while we wait for @JimBeam to get his hammer out, please review the code of conduct...and enjoy your last moments before your vacation holiday:

I would personally shy away from Remington for two reasons, quality control and freedom group.
Savage IMO is King for a stock rifle with good trigger (accutrigger) and factory detachable box mag (the model 10 uses IA (?) box mags.

The removable mag is nice. I've actually been eyeing a 6.5CM 110 Desert Tactical for the 10rd mag, 20MOA rail, and threaded barrel.

I would second that, actually. I really like my 700, but would not buy one that was produced during the Freedom Group era because the QC has really gone downhill since they took over. If you can find an older one, jump on it. But if you're looking to go with something new on a budget go Savage or Ruger; the American is a nice little rifle for the $$ and the Savage products are known for accuracy on the cheap.

Really I am looking for something with a threaded barrel, nice action, good trigger and a decent aftermarket

I can vouch for the trigger, action, and threaded barrel. Aftermarket is coming along.

Think I might go with the 10T-SR Tactical. I can go check them out at Cabela's this weekend

Ooh, available in 300 winmag? I saw a guy building a "1 mile for $1000" rifle, and this was the base. Hmmm

I have expensive customs that at best match my Model 25 Lightweight Varminter. Those AccuTriggers are great in my book.
