Marketing killed the .260 compared to the 6.5. Remington didn't promote or do anything with the 260 to help it gain attraction. Which shows since it was released the late 90's and the creedmore didn't come about till mid 2000's. Hornady jumped all over the 6.5 creedmore and promoted the crap out of it.

I looked at the first picture and I was like oh shit and then I saw what you did it with and I was like oh okay. too bad you can't have something like that when you play those carnival games with all the BB shots and you got to shoot the star out

Pretty sure the military was looking at the 260 to replace 7.62. I think that's why Larue built one.

They were a year or two ago to replace the 762x51 for sniper systems. Not sure whatever happened with that though but they were looking at both the 6.5 and the 260. I know at one point the Army was looking at options to replace 556 and the 6.5-7mm was what they were aiming for. Though not sure what happened with that either

If you don't want the endless spam mail from the NRA then you can donate anomalously. For example, the NRA roundup through MidwayUSA. You can either round up your purchase to the next whole dollar or give whatever amount you want.

Anyone know if there is a way to be an NSSF Member, even if your not in the media, a range, retailer, or manufacturer?

I will finally be putting up a few scopes for sale (all NIB) this week and first up is a Meopta MeoPro if anyone is looking for a good hunting scope. I will be posting other scopes in the buy/sell forum in the coming days if anyone is interested. This is probably not the best time to try to unload them but I’ll give it a shot.

Nothing too exciting... maybe a little rust
I was looking at those last night. I have one of their coolers and it's very good quality so I would hope that holds true with their other products. I would like to see what the sizes look like in person, I could use something like this for storing recovery gear.

I also need a better case for my AR-10 but I don't know if I want to spend that much on something just to transport it to and from the range, I may just go with a padded soft case.

They work great for flying. Pretty much all the pelican stuff is good for flying. Our work ships tons of expensive equipment in pelican cases with no issues. The military uses pelican case for sending rifles overseas (you can occasionally buy those surplus) as well. Plus lots of people use them to fly commercial. You can stand on them, jump on them, and/or toss them around and as long as you properly packed things inside they will be fine
