Took my 9 year old to our carbine match. He is rocking a S&W 15-22 with a tactical Solutions suppressor. He shoots almost every match I shoot which is about 3 times a month.

But seriously, the only way you’re going to get that deeper gong sound is it go with a much bigger gong, like 24 to 36 inch one . That’s why Hickok”s rings so well. Because it’s like 2 or 3 feet across

Be careful with it. Don’t blow your leg off with a ride-on mower.

“I blew my leg off” is at the same time hilarious and cringe-worthy.

I do all the time. Unless if you’re in a very open field I would start off with half pounders, and work up to 1 pounders. The white smoke that will come after the explosion is completely safe, it is water vapor, (lIke a cloud) and yes, they are very loud. I would not do 2 Pounders unless if you want all your neighbors be calling you !

Look up “tannerite lawnmower” and watch the video. Not overly graphic but a good lesson learned.

If you have dicks for neighbors notify dispatch, yes, .308 is fine.

Well you’re not supposed to blow OBJECTD up with Tanerite! Lol
And in fact there is some gray area that makes it illegal. (I say gray because I have seen the legal document that makes it illegal but yet you see it on YouTube all the time. So somewhere in there it must be gray for them to get away with it.)

Correct. But you’re supposed to be far enough away for that not to be an issue but disassembling something with an explosive has always been illegal under federal law unless you have a license to do it

The one area that is definitely black and white when it comes to tanerite is you cannot mix it and travel with it. It can only be mixed at the point of using it, essentially what you have is flash powder! That is what makes the massive boom! in Fireworks. So picture that inside of your car going off. Although Tanerite not be ignited itself with an open flame, it can definitely catch things on fire through thermal friction

Nothing too exciting... maybe a little rust
It's all about intent, if my "intent" is to contain the explosive safely but it ends up actually destroying said item it was contained in then it was just a miscalculation

Type that in to YouTube . He is a YouTube guy that does reviews on just about every gun out there. On his range you’ll see the multiple variations of targets he uses and on there you were hill and hear him talk about and shoot his big giant gone
